A mechanic that actually listened to me and fixed a problem I had paid 2 other mechanics for. Matt saved me a small fortune with his great rates and is upfront and honest. Easy to communicate with and great time turn around on repairs. I have referred friends there who are now also long term customers.

Would totally recommend these guys I had an incident and was stuck on the side of the road with my kids one of the MTK Mechanical boys stopped to see if I was ok within minutes they had a tow truck and took me and the kids back to the shop kept us in the shade and gave water whilst they got the part they needed for the car and it was done within hours. Me and the kids we able to drive out of there fine very happy thank you guys

absolutely stoked ! have had a engine misfire and engine light on my car for the last 5 years been scared to drive it taken it to countless mechanics and finally got it fixed here at mtk mechanical the guys had a busy day and they still fit me in fast and awsome to deal with thanks again guys.

I drove my car to MTK mechanical to do a timing chain costing me $1,700 to fix my car and gave his partner on the 14th august 2023 $800 when I drop of the car for the cost of parts. In is time I did not get any updates on my car at all I had to ring them and in this time they change mobile numbers so it's was so many excuses and when they said they fixed the car they had to more to the car while they had the car and it was going to be longer to get the car back. But when I got a phone call from
MTK MECHANICAL he told me that the power had a accident and was in hospital and not able to fix the car so when I got my car back on the 2nd October 2023 it came back to on the back of a tilt tray and can not start my car at all and its missing parts that MTK mechanical still have and I do want my parts back for the broken car not happy at all with is company and gave $900 on the day

Called these guys to get a quote on my ford to get the water pump fixed and they said send through your rego and we will message you back a quote soon. I waited 2 hours to hear back so i called back and they said they were busy so yes fair enough but if someone asks for a quote why not stop for 5-10 minutes do the quote or have someone else do the quote for you then get back to work. Other then this they quoted 3x the price over every where else and were very rude and did not feel very approachable. Would definitely not recommend unless you have deep pockets and a high tolerance for bad manners

Was quoted a price to fix / replace an alternator in our coaster $900 - $950 cash as it was a 2H Diesel engine ( dropped it off ) they rang me back asked me to pay for the part $710 cash same day so I did, days had passed heard nothing as we were going away we had to chase them up they had ordered the wrong part as it was a hard part to find apparently cut a long story short we got the old alternator back with the coaster still at the there yard got it rebuilt out of our own pocket with a auto electrician we knew they said we’d get a refund on our money well that was funny they invoiced us for over $550 for taking an alternator out of the bus and putting it back in and they broke the dipstick in the process and added shop parts in the invoice to replace it charged us for there stuffuo, Most Dodgiest mechanical business I’ve ever seen would not recommend them to anyone. The invoice didn’t even match with there small refund they gave me of $157 out of $710. Beware southsiders when looking for a mechanic steer clear of MTK mechanical. 1 star rating

DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND
Came in for a diagnostic to be told transmission got a new transmission then had to do clutch and rear main the whole time I’ve had inexperienced people WHO DO NOT HAVE PROPER QUALIFICATIONS! Have been working on the car not the older boss who I thought would. Got a phone call to pay all the money upfront as someone ripped them off apparently and not enough money to cover parts for the job so paid full amount. After waiting for clutch he says the supplier sent him the standard clutch and not the heavy duty but was in the heavy duty box?!! So had to wait further mind you I’m getting the exact same clutch that was in my car once all done and picked up immediately I noticed the clutch isn’t hard at all to press in and the noise I went in there for is still there it was the diff the whole time. He said he did a 1hr inspection and couldn’t even tell me it was the diff whining! It’s been a week and the clutch pedal engages half way my pride and joy has been ruined by these guys

I dropped a vehicle in for a engine swap. was told 2 weeks, and $X to do. 4 months later, they had to ask me to bring another mechanic in to help them as they didn't know what they were doing. Then told me the cost was double, and when I drove it home 10 mins down the road, the car died and had to be towed. Not the sort of place I could recommend to anyone unless you would like to experience what I've been through

Complete rip off. Never again. Can't ever give an invoice computer always broken. 🥴
