Wild Thyme Restaurant & Bar

This place is a hidden gem! Service was outstanding - wait staff were friendly, knowledgeable and attentive without being annoying. Food and drinks came quickly.

The food was amazing. I had the rib eye with truffle sauce. The rib eye was cooked to perfection (I asked for medium rare) and the sauce, salad and mash complemented the steak perfectly.

My dinner companions also lived their meals (the lamb cutlets and fish and chips).

Serving sizes were just right.

If I had to nit pick, one of my dinner companions said they would have preferred to have gotten their food on a plate rather than a trendy stone slab.

Overall, a great restaurant and I will be back!

This was the best night out we have had in ages. My two friends and I were staying at the Sebel Civic and tried this restaurant out last Saturday night. It was the best night. Great staff. Great service and fantastic food. We started with cocktails and after inquiring about the menu the cocktail bartender came over to chat. Jo was fabulous said she would make what ever we wanted even if it wasn’t in the list. And omg she was fabulous. We loved our French martini’s and then she just kept surprising us with different mixes all night. The last one a shot she named in honour of our friend who’s birthday it was,was our most favourite. It really was a great night. Can’t recommend the food the staff or the drinks highly enough.

For a young business this place is amazing. The decor is elegant, classy, modern and homely all at the same time. Its so easy to relax while feeling a lavish atmosphere.
The food was fantastic, the flavours were a strong, suprising and tasteful mix. The service was beyond exceptional, the staff were accommodating, friendly and great conversationalists, making the dining experience more personalised.
I couldn't recommend going here enough- a 10/10 all round and so well put together for a starting restaurant

The restaurant itself is really nice, in a nice part of civic that is easily accessible. The staff were all super friendly and did everything they could to make sure our visit was as good as it could be. The food itself was amazing and well priced for what you were given. Highly recommend and will definitely come back!

Underrated cute little Italian place. You don’t even know it’s there under the Sebel hotel. Delicious pizza and wine. I had a great night, will definitely come back.

The first time in 7 years I've enjoyed a pannacotta as much as our old desert chef used to make
