AL Fornetto

Absolute gem of an Italian Restaurant in Perth’s Western Suburbs that we discovered by accident. We wanted some Italian food and this place absolutely is the best.

We came in around 6:00 pm being very hungry so we ordered two pastas, and were served around 15-20 mins after, which is very timely for an Italian Restaurant and boy did it deliver an amazing plate.

Highly recommend this place and value for money, props to all staff, from front of house, wait staff and cooks.

Favourite Italian restaurant in Scarborough for sure! You get what you pay. Well served pasta dishes, wood fire pizza, good selection of wines, AMAZING tiramisu! Hehe We’ve been there few times for lunch and dinner. Very welcoming staff and quick service.

A great family friendly and old school Italian. I take my 3 and 4 year old here regularly and the Staff are great and food is always outstanding.

Great food, clean and tidy restaurant. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was amazing, we ordered too much for our normal meal and still cleaned every plate. Highly recommend and will go back again.

Had a fantastic dinner here last night.....had cannelloni with spinach and ricotta....just like my mother made (who by the way was Italian)
The service was great and discreet...didn't know they had been to clear the table sometimes. Please don't let other reviews put you off coming here we all had a lovely night and great food. No complaints. Will be back!!

Have not had a bad meal at Al Fornetto. It's our go-to Italian restaurant, when we can't think of what we want, we know we will always have a great meal here. The staff are also lovely, Max is always a lovely, welcoming young lady 😊

Group of four went for dinner on a Saturday evening. Didn’t have a booking and was lucky to get a table. Food was excellent- had two pizzas, one pasta and an entree size chili mussels between us to share. Wood fired pizza crusts were perfectly cooked and mussels were so fresh and not chewy or tough. We tried the tortellini- cream sauce had the perfect consistency, velvety and not too rich. The pasta was cooked al dente and mushrooms still had bite. Most of all what stood out was the excellent service from the moment we entered the restaurant. Staff were so attentive- our bottle of water was never empty, it kept getting replenished without asking, plates cleared very timely and the bread basket accompanying our chili mussels was served with I’m guessing the standard three slices of bread however since there were four of us, the lady boss (?) took it back and came back out with four slices of bread. Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed. Our first and definitely not our last visit!

Good food, great portion, great attendant beautiful environment. What is there not to love in this restaurant? Nothing.

My wife said this was the beat Salad she has had in Perth so far. I have similar feedback for my food as well.

Food was amazing from entrees to mains and service was beyond phenomenal especially from our server Max who was pleasant to chat to and told us about the restaurant and best things to order, they are a wonderful staff member

Absolutely awesome place for delicious food, service and atmosphere. Open seven days a week lunch and dinner. This is how you run a great restaurant.

Old school Italian restaurant. Cos is an excellent host that is always happy to have a chat once you've finished your meal. This place is like going to Nonna's for a plate of pasta. Not flashy, but very welcoming with great food. And the wine selection isn't too shabby.

Been there a few times. Food is really good, nothing to complain. I had calamari, so nice. Mum in law had fish of the day, oh so good. Everything else on the table was amazing.

Went there a few weeks ago and it was truly amazing. Pizzas are delicious. I am 20 minuts drive from the restaurant but will still go there whenever I want a pizza.

Ribeye is one the best in Perth. Mussles was soooooo fresh! Oysters 🦪 are freshly 🪒 shovelled. Speghetti is so good as well. Desserts, I love the peanut flavour one, but Tiramisu was very good as well.

Friendly service, delicious food. Busy Saturday lunch because they had an event, but the food came out so quick. The pizza is a must try.

Fantastic restaurant! Service is very friendly and attentive, authentic Italian cuisine is just amazing, the wine list is extensive (definitely recommend the Al Fornetto cab merlot with pizza 👍 ) and the atmosphere is quiet and comfortable even though nearly all tables were occupied. Would not hesitate to recommend Al Fornetto to anyone looking for an excellent and reasonably priced night out. I'll definitely be returning ❤👍😆

Every time we go here, we are welcomed by the family. Lovely owners, taking so much care of their business. Great value for money, great service and the food is delicious. Lots of options to choose from. Loved the pulled pork pasta special
