What a delightful find. An old style country hardware store with excellent stock range and pleasant, helpful, and knowledgeable staff. Obtained difficult to find rust restorer primer while visiting from Geraldton. A pleasure to explore.

Great alternative to Bunnings and the pricing is similar.

The staff here are fantastic - great advice and very patient. They carry great inventory for a small hardware store. Shopping here is efficient - you can quickly park, ask for help and buy what you need without wasting half your weekend

I have driven past SH so many time over the last 5 years and thought hmmm I should go in there and try them out but up until Friday of last week I had not mainly because a family member works for Bunnings. I can categorically say the experience was amazing the service was impeccable and yes it was significantly cheaper. I called them today I asked if they had a particular item their response was no however she provided me with another local supplier and they had what I wanted for a price, yes again, cheaper than Bunnings. Good on the locals.

I really appreciate the help and advice even for simple things like getting the right size screws for the wall plugs I will go here for this as it’s much better advice than Bunnings and better screws sled rappers for wall plugs instead of using the timber screws for wall plugs.

Great little store tucked away. Perfect when you need that hardware piece or last minute tin of paint. Always super helpful. Great prices as well

Such a great local hardware store. The guys there are so helpful and carry my heavy stuff to my car for me. They have a great range, they always have what I need and the prices are better or the same as Bunnings- just without the grumpy staff and crowds. Shop local!

I go here all the time for friendly informed advice and help. Garden supplies, tools and home maintenance gear all on tap. Quicker than Bunnings without the pall of sausage and onion smells distracting you.

Awesome Hardware store with good old fashion customer service.

We had a question and the gent behind the counter helped up out.

We don't find that level of service in the big national stores.

We had the dog with us 'on a lead' and said we could bring him inside, they even had a little meat treat for the dog.

This will be my store of choice for hardware, great service guys 😀

What a pleasure dealing with these guys in this father-to-son business- dropped in to get pool acid (a great price that will have me going back consistently). Absolute gentlemen and a relaxed place for a chat about all things hardware...highly recommended!

I usually go to the ‘big’ hardware in my area but although the staff are normally good it’s very difficult to find anyone. I had a tricky problem & I went to Scarborough Hardware. Problem fixed. From now I’m going to SR. Maybe some things are a bit more expensive but some are cheaper. It’s good to support our area as well.
