Found this hidden gem while searching for a new place to dine at work.
An elderly lovely couple would welcome and serve you all through your experience.
Although the menu, interior decoration, and furniture are so simple, they are clean and shiny.
What attracted me most, was the food itself. Freshly prepared and served with love.
Definitely recommend to food lovers for whom taste matters most.

Found this place as I was looking for a lunch option in the area. I chose it because the reviews are good, and the prices too. With lunch meals at 10$, I was worried the portion would be very small, or there would barely be any meat in my plate, but I was wrong to worry, it was generous and delicious (got the stir fried egg noodles with pork).

Beyond the food, the place is not particularly welcoming and is quite bare, but with this quality / price ratio it's worth seeing beyond that. Very much recommend for a casual lunch. They do takeaway as well.

Authentic Korean restaurant run by very friendly and old lady and gentleman. Foods tasted like my grandmother's. Recommended. And hope the owners stay healthy.

I’ve been wanting to come here for a while and finally had the chance. Ordered sweet and sour pork and kimchee jigae (takeaway). It reminded me of perfectly home cooked Korean meal I haven’t had in a long time. Elderly couple were so lovely and cute. Well priced. I’ll be back again. 감사합니다.

Homey and authentic Korean food. The place is run by an elderly Korean couple serving delicious Korean food. Price is reasonable. Expect good food but do not expect fast service. Recommended!

I am giving this a 5 stars across the board because we found it by accident as a search the area for dinner places. We took the plunge at the door and honestly the elderly couple that operate it are amazing, the food is so good and has great flavour. Atmosphere is reminiscent of the 80s and 90s Asian restaurants so don't go expecting Michelin service. Expect a great home cooked meal that will fill your belly and comfort you.

I would recommend giving it a go.

An elderly Korean couple runs this joint- they're tiny and both have mobility issues but they manage to create delicious, hearty and nourishing dishes that make you feel taken care of and happy. You order at the counter and go up and get your food, and return your dish to the front when you're done. There's a wait because it's just the two of them doing all the cooking, running the till, so I wouldn't go in a massive group, or assume you'll be served in 5 minutes. The food was delicious, the effort that the couple go to in their cooking makes your heart swell a bit, and the prices are amazing.

The store has really surprised me, heard it has been there for 30years, even older than me 😅 tried the cold noodle on lunch menu, since I am from a city full of Korean background people, I ll say it is very very nice, if they can put ice in will be perfect. Going to come back often~~

Quaint corner for some Korean comfort and delicious food. Served by an elderly couple, makes you feel home-ly and loved. Please help them with getting the served dishes and putting it back due to their mobility issues. Affordable as well 😊

I had the chance of dining at this charming little restaurant run by an elderly Korean couple, and I must say, it was an experience that touched my heart deeply. What struck me most was the dedication of the elderly owners. Despite their mobility challenges, they work tirelessly to serve their customers. Their effort and love for what they do nearly brought tears to my eyes. Speaking of the food, it had that genuine homey taste that's increasingly rare to find these days. I left with a heart full of gratitude for the elderly couple who pour their hearts and souls into their restaurant. It's not just a place to eat, but it's a place to experience genuine hospitality and a taste of love 🥰

Elderly couple runs this place and serves very homey Korean dishes. Having eaten in and also ordered takeaway, I can vouch that the kimchi jiggae, japchae, bibimbap and sweet and sour pork are delicious. The kimchi jiggae in particular is my favourite - not as sweet as other kimchi jiggaes that I've tasted but a lot of punchy flavour from their homemade kimchi. The Korean Ginseng tea is also very comforting, especially on a cold winter's night.

They've been around for a long time as my mother remembers eating there more than 30 years ago!

A quiet yet cozy restaurant, operated by an elderly couple for a long time. The food is clean and reflects the warmth of Korean culture. Visiting the couple is enjoyable, and eating the food they prepare is even more delightful.

It is such a lovely place to enjoy the meal. These are the best ramen I ever have in Sydney. If you are looking for premium food, this place may not be appropriate. However, if you are looking for family tasty food. This is the home. I strongly recommend all people who go there could help the grandma send dishes. Cheers. Pictures are sea food noodle soup. I took it when almost finished.

This restaurant has been around for decades and it's an enduring part of Northern end of North Sydney. I remember going past this restaurant everyday when I was at high school across the street almost two decades ago. It still has the same interior and served by the same people. Still makes traditional Korean food after all these years. While I was eating in, I saw lots of people patiently waiting for take away food to be made.

A very nice homely restaurant. An elderly couple who work hard despite their age. It's as cheap as you can find in all of Sydney. I suggested that when the meal was ready, you go and get it yourself, because the old woman had trouble with her hands and feet.

A family Korean restaurant. Food is cozy and made by a lovely Korean old couple, remind me of my grandma. Dishes are so cheap and in nice portion. Love the kimchi seafood stew, stir fry rice noddle with vegetables and barbecue beef stir fry. Definitely gonna come back again!
