Just want to thank the traffic control ladies near my place today on Chester street Woollahra. I drove past serval times during the day, they were very efficient, polite and friendly every time. Great work ladies.

Bad traffic control

I was speeding to work until I met a “eagle eye“ traffic vehicle driving appropriate to the traffic conditions due to my nature of being late to work I had to speed inappropriately to overtake the “eagle eye” traffic vehicle which cause me to break several rules causing the disqualification of my license.

I feel cheated out that “eagle eye” traffic services does not feel obligated to pay my fines.

Probably a good idea to remind your staff that when driving a branded company ute it’s not a great reflection on your brand to perform an illegal turn and then REVERSE along Third Avenue in Blacktown (or any busy road really!). Dangerous and certainly doesn’t give much confidence that your staff know what they’re doing.

This company is currently doing the traffic control at Lamb Street, Glendenning and they are clueless. This morning I sat in a queue of traffic that stretched back through a very busy set of lights at Rooty Hill Road North for nearly ten minutes while I watched them let traffic from the opposite direction through not once but twice, as well as traffic from a side street before bothering to move the traffic through on the side of the road that would definitely have been banked back way past the traffic lights, possibly even affecting the traffic lights before that set at Hyatts Road. I know it's not a legal requirement but I do believe it's a good idea that wherever there are traffic lights that can't be seen by the traffic controllers, another person is put within visual distance of those lights to advise when the traffic is interfering with the flow of traffic at that intersection. Common sense really but not for Eagle Eye Traffic Services. And when questioned as to why we had been left waiting for ten minutes I was told that there were signs up advising to expect delays. Delays are one thing but what we experienced this morning was ridiculous and unprofessional. And then as I passed each of the traffic controllers on the roadside I received a grin from each of them like my anger at being held up by them and made to be late for work was funny to them. Well done ladies and gents of Eagle Eye Traffic Services, you have shown exactly why traffic controllers are one of the most hated and most abused workers and your reputation and every thing you get is deserved.
