Choklits Child Care Croydon

Choklits is my daughters 2nd centre after leaving the first in horror. I couldn't be happier with the staff, activities, community. My daughter adjusted like she'd always been there. Pregnant with my second and will absolutely be sending my baby here when its time to go back to work

We couldn’t be happier sending our son to Choklits. The educators always greet us with a smile and a warm welcome. I often leave dropoffs thinking about how passionate they are. A lot of thought goes into the activities the children are offered. Lovely management too!

The Choklits nursery team have provided exceptional care for my son and I would highly recommend this centre. I value the good, daily communication about everything that happens and love the fun, educational activities they put together.

Educators at Choklits have made us feel so welcome and take excellent care of my little girl. We've only been there for a few weeks but it already feels like we are part of the Choklits family!

The Choklits team was so supportive through my toddler's transition into daycare. The Croydon centre has a huge outdoor space which is so fun for the kids, and the educators are friendly and caring.

The staff are incredibly knowledgeable, kind and caring and have made so much effort to know our child. They always abide by correct staff ratios and always organise stimulating activities like regular messy play and fine motor stations.

Worked when this centre was called Milestone. Loved working with few beautiful staff members and had good learning experience from the 2 kinder teachers. Love them. Paul and many others who treated me with great respect and love.

We cannot recommend Milestone Child Care and their staff highly enough. We have found the staff to be exceptionally caring, friendly, nurturing and responsive. Our daughter started attending in 2014 and has settled in very well; she absolutely loves going to the centre and we put this down to the high level of care and attention she receives there. Also, we have found communication with the centre very easy, they are always available to take phone calls and provide an update, and this has made the experience of starting day care much easier for our whole family. We really couldn’t be happier!

I highly recommend Milestone. The staff are amazing. The time and effort they put into programming and ensuring they nurture development is fantastic. They are always supporting my little girls inquisitive mind and imagination through play based learning! It’s fantastic to hear all that she has done with her day when she gets in the car!

The staff support children in the development of their own identity to ensure children are confident and involved learners. Resilience, respect, empathy and diversity are at the forefront at Milestone. The staff frequently develop and change the play space for the children and ensure a safe and clean environment for learning.

The effort that is put into the development of a portfolio for each child is fantastic and is based on real observations done throughout the year. Clear explanations of learning outcomes are given and how this fits into the Early Years Learning Framework.

Alyssa Wright who is the director at Milestone is extremely approachable and always has an answer for any query we had. Frequent updates are provided to families via email updates and a newsletter.

Milestone also offers Happy Feet to those who would like to participate at an extra cost. This is a brilliant program that encourages exercise and dancing! Miss Steph who runs the class is a superstar in our household!

Our daughter has made great friends with other children who attend Milestone and the center has a real community feeling about it. It is not surprising that they are exceeding the national quality standard when you see all the hard work that goes into caring for the kids!

I have 2 children in full time care with Milestone's and have never been more comfortable with a childcare. The staff are so understanding and nurturing towards the children and their specific needs, always encouraging their development and milestones. Great communication between staff, management and parent's also, which has been a huge relief to know the centre care about their children and the families involved.

Milestone is amazing. My children have gone to four different kinder/childcare centres between two of them (due to relocation, not due to being unhappy with the centres), and they've all been great, but Milestone are by far the best! On the first day, when I went to pick them up (almost 4 and 18 months), both of them wanted to stay and keep playing!

The centre has a great philosophy, and makes an effort to really communicate with parents with their newsletters; it isn't just a quick summary, but some really detailed information.

They put out periodic publications on early childhood education for parents, and really live their philosophy; there are chickens that roam the yard (who were raised from chicks), bunnies in the nursery room, and the occasional farm visitor. Kids are allowed to go outside no matter the weather, and parents are encouraged to send appropriate clothing so even if it's pouring rain, the kids can get out. The play areas, both inside and out, are really varied but open to so much interpretation - kids of all ages enjoy all the different rooms if they happen to visit.

Most of all, the educators are amazing. My toddler, who absolutely hates sleep, goes to sleep easily for them, and finds comfort in their arms. I know that if one of my girls has a tumble, they'll get the kisses and cuddles they need, and be given the freedom they want when they decide they want to then take their shoes off and go back for a second try at adventure.

I've felt incredibly supported by the centre, and the staff always have time to talk about the kids. Their private Facebook pages share with parents the daily goings-on of the children's days, which is a lovely way to see what they've gotten up to, and great to prompt the older children with when asking about their day.

I couldn't recommend Milestone more highly; I was initially skeptical when they didn't have a wait list, but now I'm surprised they're not booked out every day because they are absolutely amazing, and I wouldn't want to send my girls anywhere else!

Amazing centre and even more amazing educators.

As first time parents this was a very daunting stage for us, however all the educators at Milestone have gone above and beyond for our little man. Every single day!!

They not only create an amazing environment for our little man but they also have created a welcoming space for us parents as well. They help us learn too.

Wouldn’t go anywhere else. ❤

I have had 2 children at milestone over the last 4 years and could not be happier with the centre. My son suffered from a developmental delay and all the staff were fantastic with him, always patient and understanding. Milestone runs incredible programmes and the facilities are of exceptional standard. All staff are fabulous with all the children, can not recommend highly enough.

Milestone has been fantastic. They have made our transition to childcare stress and worry free. The entire team are supportive, helpful and so caring our daughter and all the other children they care for.

Having worked in early childhood services, I have pretty good idea of what to look for. I also know the regs and standards. As a full time working mum, I have very high expectations. Milestone has been a blessing for our family, with a special mention for the educator's who have made us feel welcome and valued since our first tour.

The educators at choklits are very supportive and understanding and my husband and I are so happy to have found such a wonderful childcare to send our son to and we know for sure that he is in safe hands and well looked after. Thank you, team Choklits
