Eltham Woods Childcare Co-Operative

My two children have been attending Eltham Woods Co-op since 2023 and we have been very impressed by the centre’s nurturing, warm environment. I love the small community it is and the kinder program is wonderful. Topics are child led and my son loves the play based learning and spending time in the beautiful bushy outside play area. The staff are approachable and always available to chat should I have any concerns about anything. We feel very lucky to be part of the EWCC community.

We have our little one at Eltham woods childcare since 2021 when she’s only 8month old. She LOVE the centre and the educators. I work full time and it was such a blessing to know that my child is well taken care off and enjoying her time there while I can focus on work and not have to worry about her well being is very important. Aprille and her Team of educators are just fantastic. I can’t fault the care and passion they have in making the centre such a wonderful place for both parent and the child. Well done

We feel so lucky that our kids can attend Eltham Woods – we can't recommend it highly enough. Every educator seems to have been handpicked for their warmth and enthusiasm. Since starting at Eltham Woods, our eldest has been excited and happy to be there and our youngest runs off to play without a backward glance. There always seems to be something new and exciting happening, with regular activities or fun incursions that both kids love. The grounds, equipment and activities are all exceptional, and we love that they don't have to leave the grounds to be in a bush setting. The kindergarten program is also really great and we feel like our eldest learns and develops so much every time they’re there. The centre is run perfectly and we love the co-op model. In everything they do, there's a spirit of care for others and the environment, with a strong moral compass. We love Eltham Woods!

The educators are very caring and have genuine interests in helping kids grow and thrive in their early years. My oldest has recently graduated from EWCC, she is now a happy and confident preppy. My youngest is currently attending the toddler room. With their love and care, my oldest had a very smooth transition to school and enjoying the new environment very well, and the educators in the toddler room have been working with us to encourage my youngest to speak more and open up, which is such a big help, as she is a very late talker, and didn’t talk at all when first stated cc.

The staff at EWCC are definitely like a second family to my children. My son started there in 2019 and my daughter is still there and I have never been happier with my decision to send them there. The level of care and education is extraordinary. Absolutely amazing centre.

I’ve had the pleasure of having 3 kids come through this wonderful childcare centre since 2017 and it’s absolutely fabulous! The staff have always been amazing throughout the years, they are super caring, friendly and helpful! I know that my that children have been well looked after and cared for! They have delicious onsite prepared meals and snacks, great indoor/ outdoor play spaces and plenty of awesome activities to keep the kids entertained and educated! The waiting list probably speaks for itself! Highly recommend! 😊

I’ve had my two sons attend and have had the best experience. The educators go above and beyond in every way, including learning auslan for my youngest who is on the spectrum. Best childcare/ kinder - will exceed every expectation

Aprille, the center coordinator, is simply outstanding—her organisational skills and unwavering commitment to the children's well-being make her truly exceptional. This centre is amazing. Both my kids go here and are so happy. The staff are so professional and caring. It’s a huge relief to send my kids to somewhere that makes handover easy because they are happy to be there!

My two boys have been going there over the last three years and couldnt be happier. Staff retention is exceptional and all seem to enjoy coming to work. The waiting list to get in speaks for itself!

We've had our children here since 2017 and I cannot fault them at all! My 22 month old is so happy to be dropped off in the mornings and has grown such a beautiful bond with the carers there. They are genuinely caring and I trust them 100% with my kids. Highly recommend!

I’m very impressed with the quality of care, staff and surroundings at Eltham Woods Childcare Cooperative. Children and their families are respected by the teachers and educators. The latter are kind, caring and professional. This place of learning employs best possible practice in early childhood education. We are fortunate to have our grandchildren in such good hands and minds.

Amazing Childcare centre with truly dedicated staff. Had our child there from 10 months to prep and could not fault the care and support. Staff were extremely welcoming and knowledgeable. amazing communication from management, especially through the COVID pandemic
