Knopps Removals & Storage

My elderly parents moved out of their house on the Vic/NSW border with Knopps removals and their contents was stored in a container at Knopps yard for 8.5 months. Knopps transferred the container to Melbourne last month. The boys that packed some of their contents and moved them were polite, very careful and large furniture items were dismantled and stored correctly. The owners son plus one other moved the contents in. They took great care with my parents furniture, nothing was too much trouble and nothing was damaged. We could not have asked for better service. Leigh the owner kept my parents well informed.

I hired Knopps Removals for my move from Echuca to Preston. I don't know why the average rating on Google Reviews here is low, but I thought good service deserves to be known. Leigh (the boss) was very professional from the start. His team arrived on time, and they were so cheerful, helpful, proactive and efficient. I've never seen moving happen so speedy - they loaded the truck in an hour, and unloaded the truck at the new place within half an hour. Everything was in great condition and there was no damage as they were very careful, wrapping my things in blankets and securing them snugly. I would recommend them to others. They are so good compared to other removalists my friends have hired (within Melbourne) who charge lower hourly rates but take their time to load everything because there is no incentive to be quicker. Knopps made it very easy, saved me a lot of time and my lower back is free to enjoy another day!

Chooka and Tyson worked so hard to ensure all our stuff was packed into the storage container in a safe and orderly manner, wrapping up things in storage blankets that needed that extra bit of care. They really did do an amazing job and were a pleasure to meet and do business with. We could not have made a better choice - we now have 100% confidence in Knopps and the services they provide.

I recently used Knopps removals when I relocated. I had called a more 'local' company for a quote and almost fell off my chair at the price quoted. I didn't want to buy their truck, just rent it.

Pleasant surprise when I called Knopps. Was given a quote at just over half the price of the local and they had to travel further. Move went off without a hitch, the men even hooked up my washer and plugged in the frig.

Would I use them again? Well, hope this is my last move but yes, I certainly would.

First shift of 18 yrs, we weren't really organised and stressed to the max. Nothing was a problem with Lee and boys. They took over, didn't worry about us running around like mad chooks. Highly recommend. We left a 5 bedroom 2 lounge house full of life to a much smaller new home. Shift spilt with half into storage, half into new home. Many thanks Lee.

Great Removels

I moved to Mount Isa Queensland from Melbourne. Even though they took too long to deliver my stuff I would say their service is not that bad. The only thing I would like to add their delivery people here at Mount Isa are not that expert in moving the things that I got superb in Melbourne.

Lovely fellows who worked hard but they chose to drive up to the front door over the lawn instead of using the gravel drive. Made it easier for them to unload but they left deep ruts in the lawn and they snapped a length of timber at the side of the drive. I now have to fix both of these things.

DONT BOOK KNOPPS REMOVALS!!!!!! 😡 😡

I would give then zero stars if I could!

I got quoted HALF the time they took.
They were so slow and then took our money for their time.
I Ended up being charged an insane amount of money to move a 2 bedroom house from a storage shed to just around the corner.
After I fought them on time and money we returned home half our belongings were missing!!!!!!
When I asked Leigh about it he was rude and arrogant. I then tried calling Vicki but she never answered me or got back to me.
I can’t express this enough.

I have used removalist multiple times and have never had any issues until I used Knopps. They lost some of my items and they were following up with me if I had another customers box. Unfortunately I had to put my things in storage for a year and didn't have an opportunity to look at all my items. My washing machine is missing a hose, my outdoor couch is missing bolts and most items have some sort of mark or scratch on them.

My lost items were found few months ago but they haven't delivered them as yet.

They were really nice and helpful when I organised the date for pick up. But since then they have not been very responsive or helpful.

Incredibly disappointed with this company. We booked Knopps Removals to assist with moving house as we only had a 24 hour window between moving into our new home and the settlement of our old house. After taking our booking and deposit, no one arrived to move our belongings. After us calling them (half an hour after they should have arrived) we were firstly advised there were issues with their truck. When we offered to hire a truck with their assistance to move our heavy items, we were advised they had staffing issues. This caused immense stress as we did not have anyone able to assist us at such short notice. I can’t emphasis enough, DO NOT hire this company if you want reliable service and decent people looking after your belongings. This move has been an absolute nightmare due to their lack of professionalism and regard for their customers. Would give them zero stars if possible.
