Pacdon Park - The Free Range British Butchery

Being a 67 year old Yorkshire man living in Australia. I have got to say bloody good pork pies. Great crust beautiful meat no gristle and the right amount of jelly. Tha duss a great job.

Was introduced to the Pacdon Park Pork Pie and scotch egg by our local butcher in Mawson. Loved them both. Pork pie was perfect. Firm casing and a little bit of jelly. Bought quite a few since. Haggis was also superb. Have one on standby in my freezer. Also recommend the sausages and gammon steaks. Keep up the good work. Will be ordering more.

Purchased a few items yesterday (11 Jan ), so far I have ate the Scotch Egg and it was delicious. I drove from Wodonga to visit a few places around Echuca, this place being one of them due to their British products. If the rest of the items I purchased are as good as the Scotch Egg then the drive was definitely worth it. I will review the other items as I eat them.

A little late with the update however, I ate the pork pie that I purchased along with the Scotch Egg. I will keep the update short the pork pie was yummy. Keep up the good work

Having previously reviewed pacdon park pork pies with 1 star I have nothing but praise for the response of the owners who immediately contacted me and gave an explanation why these pies were not up to their usual standard. They then offered to replace the pies which I accepted and they proved to be of first class quality and back to the usual standard that I had enjoyed previously. Many thanks to the team excellent customer service

The Perfect 10 - goes to your Pacdon Park Black Pudding! My Husband is from Midlands UK. We lived there for more than 3 years. Your black pudding here, is the best we've found since returning to Australia in the 80s - and we have tried a few. One from David Jones, more brown than black, not nice. Another from a Scottish Butcher, once again, too peppery and big lumps of fat in. Never mind, yours is brilliant - and we'll stick with it, from our Harris Farm grocers in Drummoyne. Have been looking for a decent quality pork pie since leaving the UK and have finally found one!! A big thumbs up to Jim and his staff. The gammon steaks were quality too! We will be buying more in the future!!

The best tasting pork pies this side of the English channel. Their bacon and sausages are delicious. Beautiful hand made produce/small goods. And most importantly, the owners are lovely people to deal with and talk to. Highly recommended.

The team at Pacdon Park are so friendly, love to have a chat and talk you through their products (especially if you're not Scottish/British and don't know how to cook things like Haggis). Their sausages are fresh and tasty, I love that they have low-fructose options (try the Lancashire or Cumberland varieties). Their haggis deserves all the awards it has, super tasty kinda nutty/spiced flavour, well ground so you even those who aren't sure about pluck would be happy to try it... not grainy at all! Swing by the shop if you're ever in the Echuca/Moama area.

Drove 2 hours today to meet Jim for some pork pies and other small goods. OMG the pies are just as good if not better than the ones we have had in the UK. Well worth the drive to meet them and pick them.up. Great pies!!!

We tried the Pork pies and the Somerset Apple & Cider Pork sausages they were delicious. My husband said the pork pies were as good as his grandmother used to make, which is very high praise.

Just had 2 pork pies that we got from the St Kilda farmers market. Best pork pie I have had in a long time, including back in Blighty. Highly recommended.

If like me you are partial to a good English Pork Pie, Scotch Egg or Black Pudding, then definitely worth visiting this place or buying their products from many markets they do around VIC/NSW
