Wouldn’t go anywhere else….. Kris makes you feel so welcome he is extremely knowledgeable in the trade, was happy to make changes to the lip kit he paint matched for me… my whole experience with CPK was top tier so easy to deal with and extremely fast when replying to questions.
All the staff were extremely friendly and work space was spotless and well kept….

The crew at CPK made a really stressful time absolutely seamless, smooth and easy. Kris went above and beyond in all areas to repair the cars, which both came out better than before. Throughout the entire process they were punctual, polite, explained everything and ensured I was informed of everything that was happening every step of the way. Absolutely exemplary customer service from Kris and his entire team. You know you are in for a good experience when you can eat your dinner off the workshop floor, it is so clean and well organised. The pride and passion throughout this family business was obvious in every dealing I had from beginning to end. Apart from the technical excellence of the work done on my car to restore it to better than new, the customer service was outstanding. Very rarely does one come across a business that 'owns it and stands behind their product/service' like CPK McLaren. As a customer for some 9 years, on the 4 ot 5 occasions I've needed work they are beyond helpful and professional in all that they do. Kris will bend over backwards to give the help and support you need.
This is one business that 'I' wish offered more services than what they do as it would be your one stop shop. If they could build homes, cut hair and opened up a bakery it would be a better world.

My interaction with an 18 years old father and son family business: I don't know if anyone has done ceramic coating before. The whole idea was introduced by a friend a couple of years ago. But to see the work that goes into it and to see the before and after, it's whole another level. The dedication of Chris, our former bike racer turned local panel beater was second to none. And the amount of time he put in to explain everything from his finding, process, and after care needed was second to none. It was almost 2.5 days of work.
His love for car is self evident and I hope more people understand and care about cars like him for the benefit of all of us in the community.
Now I can't drive my car for three weeks and wait for it to cure. Just gotta be patient

Our car looked very sad the day we took it to Kris for repair assessment after being rear ended the week before.

Kris and his team had the car for the initial assessment for 2 to 3 hours. Other repairers looked at the damage for 10 minutes and provided a quote .

On collection, the car (which is 10 years old) looked brand new having been detailed inside and out.

Kris and his staff went above and beyond to ensure we had the car back in time for a long planned break away. One of his staff worked until midnight, another worked on the weekend.

Kris kept us posted about the progress of the repair promising to have it back to us by the required time.

Kris is very knowledgeable not just about the repair of the vehicle but also the legalities of having an accident and the subsequent repair.

We cannot thank Kris and his team enough and thoroughly recommend CPK McLaren MotorBody to anyone who may be looking for a perfect result from a Team who "goes those extra yards"

UPDATED MARCH:

Since last review, we had just sold the car. We got the price we wanted. The buyers were so impressed with the condition of the car that they bought it on the spot. The feedback was: the car doesn’t smell like a used car at all and everything looked new. The exterior remained spotless even after 4 weeks. We just gave it a quick wash and here she was: sparkling clean. It was unreal when the buyers told me that they’d turn down a similar car with much less mileage! I was wrapped.

We had our car detailed there. Very happy with the result. Couldn't recognized our car when we picked it up. Yep: that different. What I appreciated the most about Kris was that he was straight up with us. He's got great knowledge of the body works. He also didn't cramp the work in and took the time required to work on our car. So it seems to me it isn't about volume/throughput. They really care about the quality of their service. Highly recommand this place! Kris also took great photos for us which was very thoughtful of him. Thank you!

When my car was hit by a third party vehicle causing significant damage to it, I immediately contacted McLaren Motorbody. Kris and the team were brilliant.

Kris regularly updated me through the repair process. He took away all the stress of dealing with the other party’s insurer who was being a nightmare. It could have been a very different outcome without Kris’ advice and assistance. Instead I was able to drive off in a hire car worry free knowing my car would be repaired properly.

The quality of the repairs is exceptional. The paintwork is flawless despite being a difficult colour and looks incredible, my car looks like it has rolled off the showroom floor.

I cannot recommend Kris and the McLaren Motorbody team highly enough for outstanding service and work.

My coaster bus came back from this excellent family business today. I couldn’t be happier . Their service and attitude to this customer was exceptional. they went way beyond what would be the normal experience . Identified issues and fixed them. Had it not been for their negotiable skills and honesty- my insurance company would of written off my bus. As it Iis I now have a vehicle which I believe is valued at well more than it was before my accident. It is wonderful to see such hard working honest family Business in this era of exploitation and greed. leongatha is lucky to have them.

I have used McLaren MotorBody on two occasions now after bad experiences with Melbourne Panel shops. McLaen MotorBody came well recommended and I haven't been disappointed. Kris and his team are very skilled tradespeople, pay enormous attention to detail and genuinely care about doing high quality work. Their customer service is outstanding. I can highly recommend them to anyone needing their services.

This is a family run business & Kris excells with making a very stressful situation as easy as possible. Kris took care of everything, all the paperwork & repairs was a breeze. Kris deserves 11stars out of 5!!! The parts for our VW Tiguan took longer than expected to arrive due to covid but thats not their fault that there are way less flights into Melbourne than usual with parts onboard. Kris constantly kept us up to date with all the emails in the loop letting us know what was happening. Picking up our car when finished today was a delight, our car was spotless & sparkling and excellently repaired! Well done 👏 CPK McLaren family! Cant recommend enough. Kris, Pam, Craig and the team at CPK McLaren Motorbody have done a fantastic job with my car, not once but twice in one month! There friendly and professional approach is second to none. They take pride in their work as my car is like it is brand new again, and not to mention it's immaculate inside and out on pick up, l am so so happy!
