Michael's IGA Leongatha + Liquor

Irregular out of towner... but always manage to find a reason to shop at Michael's IGA. Great range of goods, some excellent pricing, well laid out and roomy store along with helpful and friendly staff. I can even grab a coffee or bite to eat in store. What more could a bloke want?

Stumbled across this gem of a supermarket in Leongatha. What's not to love about this place. Easy parking. Amazing choices within, including a small cafe selling delicious fresh food. There are unlimited dairy, deli, and meat choices as well as prepared take-home meals, the likes of which are rare in country towns. The teas on offer are many and some that aren't available anywhere else. The service is excellent and good to see young people employed there as part of pleasant staff willing and able to meet needs and fill requests. It is clean and easy to navigate. I love the place. I travel from another counry town just to shop at Michael's IGA.

Great IGA store very friendly and helpful staff wonderful bakery and deli section great meat selection and the butchers are helpful and I can't forget to mention the cheeses oh the cheeses!! Great supermarket do recommend!!

One very pleasant surprise when visiting Leongatha is this Sushi shop inside the IGA. The freshest Sushi and great coffee made by a delightful young lady who's service was second to none.
The IGA itself was well stocked and organised with large isles and an abundance of products to choose from. Keep up the great work!

So different from the big W. Peaceful and I was able to choose goods of quality and reasonable price, not shelves full of the same brands and not much choice.
Check out was polite and efficient.

Cheery helpful staff, wide selection great prices, extended daily hours! Love this place! I spent 3 weeks in the vicinity for work placement and this place saved me for dinners and lunches a number of times. They have enchiladas, Parma, Kiev and other heat and eat stuff at very reasonable prices as well as a vast array of Asian groceries and ready to eat. Veggies and meat are fresh and not close to expiry like another local supermarket often stocks. Their biscuit and cracker section is awesome and they Have a good selection of alcohol too. Highly recommended.

Staff are great, store is modern and spacious. Sushi, popcorn and hot food available too. Forget going to woolies or aldi. Although, do be careful of your receipt as overcharging happens often.

I drive people from loch to iga once a week to do their shopping and I always have a toasted Sanga and hot chocolate, this week was the best ever the new lady, lisa made a fantastic Sanga and hot chocolate, and only $5, thanks lisa it's your first day and you have excelled yourself.

This is a standout store for friendly staff, neat and CLEAN and always well stocked. Also as a customer with a disability, it is easy to negotiate around the isles. A pleasure to shop here.
