McCartin's Hotel

We were celebrating a birthday lunch, the staff were very friendly and the meals were great ,most of us had seniors meals and they were really tasty and the roast was huge I've never seen such a big plate of food for a seniors meal all for under $20. We were still sitting at the table at 3-30pm and the staff didn't try to move us on . Will go back again in the future, there were 9 of us including 2 of the younger generation and not a complaint from anyone

What a good old fashioned, tasty and filling meal we had here. 300g steaks were cooked to perfection and the sides were tasty AF.

Highly recommend stopping here for lunch or dinner, we will be stopping here from now on for our Wilson Prom adventures.

Had a lovely birthday dinner here with the family. It’s been a long time since we’ve had a meal that everyone has thoroughly enjoyed. The attention to detail and presentation was exceptional and it was great to see some local produce on the menu. The staff had a great understanding of the menu and were friendly and attentive. Best meal I’ve had since moving to gippsland by a long shot. Nothing else compares. Thanks so much to Simon and the team for making our night a memorable one. Looking forward to coming back again.

Loved their Woodford pizzas. We went for 3 of their vegetarian pizzas- Margherita, Funghi (on special), and Genovese. Couldn’t fault any of the combinations and great service to boot.

Good food, great atmosphere and staff, nice location. Ticked all the boxes for a nice dinner.

I could not fault dinner - seafood linguine for main and creme broulee with a brandy snap basket filled with vanilla ice cream for dessert. Brought out in a timely manner by veracious staff. Well worth eating here.

Had dinner last night and we both had the scotch fillet and porterhouse steak both were cooked to our liking.. The staff were really friendly from the bar to the bistro highly recommended and would definitely visit again

Totally injoyed it, nice friendly staff too. I had a chicken parmigiana and it did not disappoint, friends had fish n chips and said it was just perfect and a couple more friends ordered the salt n pepper calamari and at first only because of presentation they thought oh no, but it was absolutely beautiful. We had cocktails and other drinks it was just a great night. We will be back again

The Renovation has made it a favourite and they have great food to boot and great service. You seriously cannot go past McCartins

Last year, our family had several meals at McCartins Hotel, and the food was excellent every time. Great atmosphere in the dining room and fantastic service. McCartin's didn't realise, but you played a central part in our lives at the worst time when our brother passed away. Your pub became the meeting place for us to get together and relax. Thank you.

Went out for dinner. As seniors, we were given complimentary glass of wine with our order. The meals were tasty, but there are limited choices for vegetarian/vegans.

Very nice spot to stop and have a feed and drink.

Had dinner in bistro with my family and everything we had was delicious ranging from kids menu, bread, entrees and mains. Especially good was the option of a healthy plate for the children. They could have a mixture of nuggets/chips with salad & vegetables between them.

Big thank you to the owners for letting us order at the eleventh hour just before the kitchen closed. The atmosphere was great. Also thanks for having two vegan options on the menu. The fried polenta was very tasty.

Very helpful and accommodating. Worked with us to ensure we could have a meal after seeing a movie. Nice meal.

A real supprise find. Was able to get a table on a bank holiday weekend last minute. Great selection on the menu plus everything was tasty and fresh. 2 parents and 2 kids that will return again. Thank you

Reviewing the bistro: Stuck with the pub classics - steak sanga and a beef burger. They were absolutely fantastic; perfectly executed! It really hit the spot and the staff were friendly and service reasonably quick. Would definitely eat there again on my way through!
