Beautiful little spot in the heart of the Main Street of Warburton. We actually stumbled upon it as we were exploring the shops.

We enjoyed our wine/whiskey flights with our cheeses! It was so delicious. Pairings was on point. Friendly and down to earth staff. The atmosphere was also very relaxing, it almost had sort of a Japanese vibe to it (quiet and peaceful). We would also highly recommend their house made pumpkin and ginger cheesecake!! We will definitely be back.

I haven’t been this impressed with a food venue for years! Half of what you’d pay for an experience like this in the city.

Wines, cheeses and gins all matched with tasting notes and the cheese tastings with wines were around $25. Incredible value that I’ll be going back to again and again.

This has a wow factor that will impress the socks off anyone and I for one will be taking friends here because this is something that deserves to be shared and the setup is first class.

My cheeses matched the wines perfectly and the venue itself is stunning. A perfectly relaxed and unpretentious establishment that has added to what this beautiful town has to offer.

Fabulous wine and cheese flights here, featuring local wines, local cheeses, and well selected imported cheeses. The drink and food matching has been done beautifully. There's real variety too - as well as wines, you can be drinking beers, ciders or spirits. You can go for vegan cheeses, also matched (I've never seen a wine bar do that!). And excellent gluten free crackers are included for everyone - ask if you want them served separately. We were really pleased with our flights of wine and cheese, and took our time over tasting everything. The local Dutch style cheeses are a real highlight. I'd happily go back.

We started off with a wine flight, which was a delicious pairing of 4 Wildfire wine and 4 cheeses. We followed that with mussels, prawns and the steak dish, all very tasty! The host was lovely, thank you. This is a great place for a lunch, dinner or even a glass of wine or a coffee.
It was a delightful experience.

Warm and funny hosts, great wine, excellent food, and good value. We had the jamon croquettes, patatas bravas, and the goat cheese croquettes - all were sensational!

We have always had the best experience at taste, with the most amazing cheese and wine pairing selections. Even in lockdown, these guys keep kicking all the goals!! Thank you for the most amazing hamper!!

Stunning! Popped in for a lunchtime coffee (which we found to be the best in Warby!) and ended up staying a while chatting to the owner and trying some of the cheeses, really really good! Would love to go back for the gin & cheese pairing. Only downside, they open around lunchtime so no luck with a delicious morning coffee 😃

Great spot for a light lunch with a great variety of tapas and good wine. Everything was delivered with such lovely service. Looking forward to getting back again!

Stopped in for a drink and a taste of the local cheese, the cheese and cider were fantastic but the pumpkin and ginger cheese cake was amazing.

But what made this a 5 star experience is the ambiance and service, genuine love for their customers.

Great experience the wine and cheese matching is wonderful. Donna & John did a great job explaining their history and how they make their wines. All round a great experience :)

Couldn’t recommend this wine bar highly enough. It’s great to sample the delicious local wines and cheeses in a paddle style. We felt so at home with the attentive staff who managed to keep everything running smoothly even when the power went out. Was extra special being invited in for an extra drink while they were closing up. Can’t wait to visit in the winter.

Incredible place to eat in Warburton if you’re after something a bit nicer than the usual. Their Spanish tortilla was especially lovely, the jalapeño croquettes delightful and the service was top notch! Can’t recommend this place more, please check it out when you’re in town!

I have to say, this establishment deserves the RESTAURANT OF THE YEAR.
I walked in there, just at closing time. I was driving through, and was desperate for 'anything savoury'.
One staff welcomed me and another, who was on the phone, apologised that he wasn't able to serve me.
I asked what they had available, and sure enough, there was nothing left for take-away.
The girl then enquired at the back, to the chef if there was anything.
And the chef kindly offered, that they have a baguette, and are able to add fillings.
The red lettuce, the prosciutto... and THAT CHEESE!
The cheese was like 'Heaven on Earth'.
I asked if she could cut it in 3 parts, so I could share it with others in my car.
I just want to say THANK YOU, for making my visit to Warburton a memorable experience to tie off my day.
This chef saved me from me regrettably driving through a McDonald's 'drive'thru' on the way back to my home in Melbourne.

Once again thank you for your A Class hospitality to all 3 staff that were on the 13th January.
You guys made my Warburton visit, a memorable one.

Shane was an amazing host. We felt so well attended. The food was beautifully selected to enhance the flavours in the paladar.
Just remembered to ask them what's the best combination for any of the plates, they definitely know.

Taste is now our favourite place for dinner or coffee in Warburton. It's not clear by the name but Taste is the cellar door for Wildfire Wines - Warburton's only winery.

We love taking visitors here. The atmosphere is great, as is the cheese, food and wine. They also do coffee, cake and sandwiches during the day.

Feels like a wine bar out of Melbourne minus all the pretentiousness, and the woodfire is brilliant in winter.

Highly recommend!!!

We has lunch at Taste today...what a Gem of a place in Warburton. Cosy great food and wine. Cheese platters, wine flights reasonable lunch items. So pleasant..owner hosts really enthusiastic and helpful. We will be back..loved it👍💯

A wonderful addition to Warburton and only deserving of high accolades and reviews. The staff are absolute professionals, even sometimes in the face of challenging situations on busy weekends. As the nights unfold the space transitions to an intimate wine bar to while away the evening. All the more reason to stay in Warburton and avoid the daytime crowds on weekends.

The most spectacular customer service experience. Besides the wine and food being absolutely lovely they offered to take a photo of all of us as we tried a selfie and when my son asked if they had any drawing pencils they organised someone to run out and purchase something from a local shop. This made our day, thank you so much.
