Great variety on the menu although steak prices a little hefty for the serving size at over $50 for a small to average piece of scotch fillet. Amazing location and stunning views with Puffing Billy tracks out the back. So if you coordinate your meal time when Puffing Billy is running you'll get to see it. Staff were friendly, polite and courteous which makes the overall experience very pleasant. Venue itself is beautiful. I would definitely recommend!

We hosted a birthday party outdoors at Paradise Valley for about 25 people. The whole experience was great. Hayley and the team made it very easy to organise the event. Everyone raved about the food and they day couldn't have gone smoother. Highly recommended for events.

This place is a hidden gem. One of the best pubs if not the best pub on the hills. The ambience is really good and the staff are very polite and professional. Special call out to Luke who had attention to every detail and took good care of us. The food is really good , cooked to perfection and reasonably priced and they also have a great list of cocktails and drinks. The korean fried cauliflower is their signature dish and one of the reasons I keep going back. Keep up the good work guys.

We got married here recently - Staff were great the whole way through from organising to the actual day. Very accommodating, easy going and made sure everything flowed well on the day. Food and drinks package was incredible value, everyone loved the meals. Where else can you get married and have a parma on the menu? I hope I don't have to get married again, but if I do I won't hesitate to come here. Easily our favorite pub in the Dandenongs. Thanks legends for making our day that extra bit special.

We had our wedding here at the Paradise Valley Hotel on the 25th and it was amazing! I cant thank Mark, Hayley and the Events team and Hotel staff enough for the all planning, preparation and advice they provided that made the day so wonderful. The food and service was excellent all night. If you are looking for a wedding venue you definitely should consider this location. If you are after a lovely dinner out or lunch in the gardens to view the Puffing Billy as it goes past this is definitely a great spot! We cant wait to come back again.

Very happy with the service of Paradise Valley Hotel.
Firstly, we had an issue where we had damaged the back window on our car.
I went inside and asked for a plastic garbage bag and some tape to protect the window and stop the glass from getting inside the car.
There was absolutely no hesitation with staff to help with this. I was even asked if there was anything else they could do to help or did we need to call someone. There was no questions asked- assistance was offered without them knowing I was part of a bigger party.
Secondly, we were having a family Christmas Eve lunch. Quite a few people and some children.
Jacob was particularly helpful and his customer service was impeccable. He was very attentive and helpful and the food orders were taken quickly. Entrees , lunches and kids meals all came out together ( for a party of 17) and the meals were large, varied and delicious !
Absolutely looking forward to another visit.

A great find! First visit & there will be more. Bistro has good menu selection & loved the Lamb shank which two of us shared & Nachos was good too.

Awesome service (thanks Jasper) & views of Puffing Billy & the hills beyond made this a memorable outing...Adequate free parking. At the very end of Wellington Rd - the drive up the hills is picturesque & soothing under tree lined tunnels.

I had another amazing meal at Paradise Valley recently and everything was perfect. The location is stunning, with Puffing Billy chugging past every so often, and the food is delicious. It is the friendly and attentive staff, though, that make the place so special. They go above and beyond to ensure everyone has a great experience.

We had my husbands birthday celebrations here in the function room. It was set up beautifully, with a kids table, and drawing for them, Bluetooth speaker, access to the WiFi, and a split system for airflow. The space was intimate and comfortable for guests. The meals came out quickly anr were lovely, and the staff were so accommodating. Thank you so very much for a relaxed and fun night.

Husband and I have been meaning to visit here for a few years. Finally, we were able to yesterday and wished we had come sooner!

Great selection of beer, cider, ginger beer on tap. My husband loves Tasmanian beer (Boags XXX Ale), and we struggle to find it in bottle shops or on tap anywhere on the mainland, and Paradise Valley Hotel had it on tap! Very happy husband.

Beautiful proportioned 'outside' dining. It's more like a conservatory with a roof and glass windows that could open/close as patrons wished, making it an all-weather area. Nice outlook over the garden and even Puffing Billy Railway.

Amazing menu options, was hard to choose. Will be back to sample more (plus more Boags!). Staff attentive and sought answers to menu questions and slight alterations permitted. Were were a party of 7 and dishes included vegetation nachos, snitzel, steak sandwich and lamb salad. All delicious. Everything was table service and the bill was able to be split. Visited on a public holiday, so there was a surcharge, as is the new normal.

Definitely will be back!

We had dinner here with our three kids last night, The service & staff were amazing! The food was well priced, and served very quickly. Steak was delicious, large kids meals and wide selection of drinks. Will be back 100%!

Delicious food and a wide array of drinks selections. Service is the best I've ever seen at a pub, they're very attentive. The view from the back room is amazing and compliments the yummy food and great service very well. This is my go to pub now

Fabulous food in a great setting. Open fire in winter, charming outdoor area with puffing billy passing by. Family friendly, highly recommended.

First time dining here for lunch today.
The service was exceptional, staff were super friendly. And food was next level good! Will definitely be back :))

What a fabulous lunch destination. The rooms are spacious, and inside on a winter's day is warm and inviting. The staff were attentive and friendly, changing chairs for the older people in our group, providing fresh chilled water without asking and the service was efficient and prompt. The chicken burger, fries and salad was delicious as was my son's steak burger. We will return with others to share the experience.

Its a great bar and restaurant Lovely food.
Day i went it was lively busy and a bit loud with people having a lovely time chatting.

The service was excellent. Dispite the the fact the place was packed.

Really great and friendly service (particularly the guy with the beard and long hair!).

We really enjoyed the food, particularly the Korean fried cauliflower and potato cakes.

A friend ordered the duck and mushroom pie, which looked like the pick of the day.

Also cool to see puffing billy pass by.

Had dinner last night & Jasper made sure it was an amazing experience & even showed us places to visit on a map!! Can’t wait for my next visit!!

Oh yeah the food (& drinks) were great!!
