The Bower Room

The Bower Room is lovely, diverse gift and decorator store in the once sleepy town of Warburton. Maree the proprietor creates a relaxed shopping experience with her charm, advice and quiet humour. I went to pick up a last few items for the Christmas stockings and came away with a bag of quality items that didn’t stretch the budget. Great stuff.

I LOVE this store! The Bower Room is full of beautiful unique homewares that are very reasonably priced. This is my go to store when buying gifts for friends and family. Maree ( business owner) is always up for a friendly chat. A Warby gem indeed!

My wife loved this place. She bought a cushion and a serving tray. They wowed her family when we got home. There are plenty of arty gifts. The octopus art is terrific. Wonderful other gifts and friendly service. No hesitation in recommending the place.

Wow, this store offers the most beautiful items for any home. If I could, I would have purchased many many items. Purchased a lovely gift for my mother in law to take back to England and she loved it. Will definitely be back.

We always enjoy visiting The Bower Room while we're in Warburton and find it hard to walk out without a new treasure. The rooms are decked out beautifully and you could easily spend an hour checking out the knick knacks and earring wall. Highly recommend if you're looking for a unique gift or to simply spoil yourself. Maree (the owner) always has a smile on her face so you're always going to feel welcome there.

Very stylish homeware specialty store and would recommend if you have no budget when it comes to designing your house. The saleslady informed me that their reed diffuser last for a year which to me is not bad

Love this boutique shop. Its my go to place for gifts for all ages. Friendly and knowledgeable staff! A must see if you’re visiting Warburton.

What a gem. Beautiful items at reasonable prices. Loved it.

Was really enjoying a wander around this lovely store until the NOT so lovely lady working there asked me to take my 5 year old niece’s lollipop out of the store. I questioned her, asking why, because it was in her mouth. The lady clearly wasn’t happy with this and said ‘when children have lollipops it drips on my furniture’. It’s your choice who you want in the store and that’s fine, so I took my nieces hand and began to leave (even though I found it bizarre to not allow a 5 year old with a lollipop in a store that stocks children’s items) as I obviously wasn’t going to make her stand out the front on her own.

Then, the not so lovely lady looked at my 8 month pregnant belly and called me ‘hormonal and rude’ for leaving the store. Unbelievably prejudiced comment and simply not okay. The situation would have been the exact same whether I was pregnant or not. Do better.
