D'lish Fish and Chippery

The crumbed king snapper was pretty fresh, the crumbed camembert was delicious too and the chips were just how I remember! Great service too!

It has been many years since we last visited Dlish Fish. We had a lovely meal tonight. We ordered a Singles pack each as it has the variety of fish pieces, calamari, prawn cutlet and chips. All was beautifully cooked, generous serve and fresh. Staff were really lovely. We will be back. Thank you.😚

Fresh and delicious. Not greasy at all. Serving sizes are generous. Would definitely recommend.

We've been coming here for the past 6yrs and they never disappoint.

Seafood Combo for 2;
Perfect for two people and could easily be shared between 4 people with small appetites. Comes with a great little salad, 2 x small tartare sauces and lemon. The coleslaw dressing is very oily so you might want to squeeze some lemon on it for a bit of zest. We always ask for battered fish and highly recommend it as they do battered fish very well. In fact the best battered fish on Brisbane's Inner City Northside!

Extras we tried:
Potatoe scallops;
Crunchy and good sized. They also have a cheese & bacon version which is interesting.

Snapper spring rolls;
Very good and highly recommended!

Crumbed Camembert;
Very good and great if you're a cheese lover!

The only thing that needs attention is their tartare sauce.

Great fish and chips! Consistently good. Shame we're moving to the Gold Coast tomorrow, will miss this place 😔😁

Very clean and neat establishment
Food was excellent cooked well and great portions

Only thing I would suggest is a bit more flavour in the tartare sauce was a little bland

Best fish and chips.. Calamari was soft and not rubbery..one of the best I have ever tasted. Price was affordable and ambience was great. Will definitely come back again.

Our favourite fish and chips joint. We always go there for dinner on Fridays during Lent season and on Good Friday. Never been disappointed. My favourite on the menu is the Cod or Dory meal, battered. Batter is always crispy. Generous serve of chips.

I've been to many fish and chips resto even around good coast and sunny coast. Still cannot beat D'lish. 😁😁👍👍👍

The only comparable resto is Ciccerello's at Fremantle WA. But that's too far away 😁

Absolutely delicious!!! We eat here at least a couple of times per week. Always fresh & always good - a little pricey on some things, but HEY it's Wilston so EVERYTHING is dear!!! Well done, highly recommended :)

If you like perfectly prepared sea food served with fresh salads and golden chips give it a try - it is the best I have found, and worth the 15 minute drive it takes me to get there. They do gluten free and garlic free, The Garlic Free Sea Food Chowder at $7.50 and fresh Barramundi meal at $17.50 for a generous serve are my favorites.

Always look out for the chef’s special and grilled fish option always available. The interior is a bit sad now they packed it all up due to covid, looking forward to when dine in option is more available

Surrounded by restaurants that offer expensive meals and condescending staff this place is the exact opposite. Lovely couple who seem to genuinely appreciate your business and the quality of the fish and skill of the chef are very high which is rare for this area.

Good food, friendly service. Have improved recently and offer excellent meal deals for lunch. They know the difference between local and imported fish.

My partner and I always get food here when we’re at kings beach. I’m a student so sometimes we come down here and I study and if my laptop is low on charge Joe m lets us use a power point (we love you joe !!) Definitely recommend coming here for your fish and chips cravings!!!
