Peppermint Crescent Taiwanese and Japanese Restaurant

When flavor penetrates the meat (ē-ji̍p-bah 得入肉) and vice versa and permeates the whole. The outcome is flavorful (chin-kàu-bī 真夠味); like a slow brew that let all the goodness sip in.
All the dishes we had were beyond expectations - better than some in Sunnybank, or even Taiwan.

Had the Lo Ba Ben, Takoyaki, Warm Beef Salad, Red Chilli Wontons, Chef’s Special Fried Rice & the Salt & Pepper Seafood, which were very good.

Every item we ordered is delicious, especially the bubble tea and bao. Not only the quality of food but also the service and the vibe in the restaurant are all superb. Usually, I won't bother to leave a comment for any restaurant, but this one is too good to ignore. Please give it a try. You won't regret it.

Wow! Such delicious Japanese and Taiwanese food presented beautifully and delivered expertly to the right person so soon after we'd ordered. We'd brought a group of 18 older people to the restaurant for the first time, and it was an excellent experience. Plenty of parking, easy access, spotless amenities, and delicious food. 😋 🎅✨🎄🙏

The best Taiwanese restaurant and I was blown away by the delicious food.
The standout dish for me was the chicken and mushroom Bao - it was simply the best. The flavors were well balanced and the filling was perfectly cooked.

Almost all the dishes I tried here were yummy, but the tiger fries deserve a special mention - they were top-notch.

I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a taste of authentic Taiwanese cuisine.

Being the first Taiwanese-style restaurant in Sunshine Coast, PeppermintCrescent is serving up some deliciously authentic Taiwanese classics like Beef Noodle Soup, ‘Three-Cup Stir-Fry’, and Braised Pork Belly Rice as well as a ridiculously wide array of good old Asian favourites, all made in-house by the Chef-Owner-Operator who’s originally from Taiwan.

In the morning, Peppermint Crescent also offers a selection of Western cafe breakfast items. Think the quintessential Eggs Benny, Wraps, Toasts, and more.

The chic spacious shop in Buderim is much loved by the local community evident by the near perfect review rating across every platform they’re on.

After trying out their Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup and a couple of their mini rice bowls, we can definitely see why!

Asian restaurant with reasonable price. They have plenty of food options from small medium to large which can fit various of expectations.

We love the beef roll and red chilli wonton and mango chicken wings.

Don't go to Taiwan and pay $100USD for the Niu Ba Ba beef noodle soup. Their bowl is just as good. Lots of slow cooked beef and tasty noodles cooked perfectly. My Taiwanese father in-law also enjoyed. All the food was amazing and bubble tea was also very good.

What an amazing find. Tucked away in Buderim and absolute amazing food. Super fresh and good selection of traditional dishes. Great bubble and ice teas and the pork rice is better that Taiwan. Will absolutely be back again

That’s very delicious foods in Sunshine Coast. I recommend you try this restaurant. It’s my favorite foods now. Especially Tiger Fries,Three Cup Stir Fry, Kimchi Pork and Sweet Potato Chips with chef’s secrete soy. Definitely we will come back again. Thank you very much for awesome Taiwanese foods.

Aussie food with Authentic Taiwanese spirit in every dishes and dessert. You know it it OZ food, but a Taiwanese can immediately tell where Taiwanese ingredients reside in.

My wife and I tried Peppermint Crescent for the first time on Sunday night (dine in) as we had heard they were doing a bush fire appeal day (all profits were donated), and they did not disappoint! Damn near had to use a wheelbarrow to cart us back to the car with how much we ate though, haha.

Arrived there just after 5pm, during their happy hour window. We ordered two of their bubble tea drinks on almond milk - they were freaking massive, tasted delicious, and the little bubble things were yummy (and a laugh every time you got them in your straw). They included a free tiger chips (instead of 2x chicken wings) for happy hour as we're vegetarian, which was lovely of them. The tiger chips are little entre covered in this sauce and seasoning that is just incredible.

The mains were a really hearty tofu rice curry that my wife went absolutely nuts for, and this 'three cups' tofu dish that was just next level restaurant quality that was absolutely devine (the sort of meal I'd expect from somewhere like MOON with a much higher price tag). We shared both meals and - wow! - we're we both impressed.

We were already quite full at this stage, but when we saw the dessert menu, we couldn't resist the Gluten Free Lemon Lime Cheesecake with ice-cream. Yuuuuuuuuum.....

For the quality and serving sizes, it's fantastic value. We both left thinking "wow, this was so much better than we'd expect from a little restaurant in a small corner shopping mall". It's top quality food at very reasonable pricing in a beautiful little restaurant, and I recommend it whole heartedly (I can't wait to go back and try their sushi next time). Their happy hour offering from 4-6pm is also well worth coming in for an early dinner :-)

Peppermint Crescent is my go to restaurant. Every time someone asks for recommendations for reasonably priced, kind service and DELICIOUS food, ofcourse I say Peppermint Crescent.

Every staff member is so kind and amazing at their jobs! I think people forget they are human too.

Tiger fries are to die for and I love the Lo Ba Ben.

Peppermint Crescent is always first place I want to go to or get takeaway from.

Some people just like to cry about things that are not an issue or not something in your control and make a fuss because they got nothing going on in their lives.

Wow, very tasty food. The duck Bao and Lo Ba Ben were delicious as was the Salt n Pepper Seafood dish. Definitely be back.
