Hampton Visitor Information Centre

A great place to stop and get your bearings and to get detailed maps and information about the surrounding areas and their multiple tourist and local attractions. The staff are always genuinely friendly and knowledgeable and the toilets are always impeccably clean and free of drugs paraphernalia.

Staff and volunteers are friendly and knowledgeable about the Hampton, Crows Nest, Toowoomba and Lockyer Valley regions.

Free camp and toilets also available. Beautiful shaded parking. Grab your maps, gifts and local product.

They are so friendly and helpful and camping there was peaceful and quiet.
Amenities were very clean.
It's a credit to the staff and town.

If your wanting to know anything about Hampton, or the Greater Toowoomba Region, I have found the staff at this information centre very knowledgable and helpful with all questions that i asked. If your in the area and seeking advice, i would reccomend them.

Very helpful and very obliging staff with a wealth of information

Lovely little spot to stop for a break. Good toilets. Safe and easy. Good seating. Great info centre. Loads of parking - easy fit a van etc. Use to be a lovely little café over the road but I think it was closed.

A lot of local knowledge , well worth a vistit

Very helpful and friendly lady in the Information Centre when we called in last week 😊 She gave us some great tips and we ended up camping overnight at beautiful Lake Cressbrook - thank you ! Also bought some local honey and got some informative brochures 👍

Great overnight stop to camp. Very clean toilets, level ground and breakfast across the road at the Hampton general store. Volunteers were very helpful on the attractions around the district.

Tracey and Les were marvellous. They highlighter places we were interested in, gave us brochures and we were fascinated with the details of the building.

Very helpful. We got great information today about some light/easy 4wd trails in Ravensbourne National Park, and some nearby walking trails and other attractions.

What a gem! Lovely setting, pristine amenities, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable ladies. Charming first day volunteer lady brimming with enthusiasm for locality and Toowoomba attractions. Six stars!

Whoever she was, she'd know (I was in the 5th wheeler) was the friendliest and most helpful person I have encountered. (I got to Esk, thankyou). Great little stopover.

Must stop for the ‘Crows Nest Lemonade’ incredibly refreshing and great service from the lovely old lady who runs the center!
