I’ve been here a handful of times full of times both lunch and dinner, the only difference is the sushi and the lack of brownies at lunch but I can live without. The mock tails were so nice as a nonalcoholic option. The service was delightful and I loved the atmosphere though it could get a little loud. I’ve recommended this place to everyone I know❤

It was our first time visit at Shabu house. Online booking system is easy to process. Dinner time was very busy, but their staff managed well. Staff were friendly and explained to us about their services. Lots of Variety of sushi, hotpot soup base, hotpot fresh food section, sauces, deep fried foods. The miso soup base was really delicious, spicy one was also satisfying. Overall the dining experience was great and delicious, although dessert section was a bit disappointing, they only had choices of jelly and brownie.

*No parking on site, and hard to find a street parking due to lots of construction work in CBD. We parked at 123 Albert St, just a short walk to the restaurant.

Fantastic place for lunch! Food was fresh and choice of soup bases meant it catered to our individual tastes. The sushi was some of the best I’ve had. Highly recommend 💫

Absolutely love this place! $35 lunch or $50 dinner. All you can eat (including sushi!). There are much more options on the dinner time slot but lunch is still great. Service is fantastic

Awesome place to eat out at with your loved 1 me and my partner enjoyed ourselves to the fullest. The all you can eat sushi bar to die for wide selection wide variety. The Hot pot section not to much of a meat selection but still pretty good and the soups delicious I got the miso soup which I'm actually not a fan of miso soup but this was really nice alot stronger than your normal miso in a cup.. great service superb atmosphere. 9/10

What a fantastic spot for lunch! The fresh ingredients and variety of soup bases ensured everyone's tastes were satisfied. And the sushi? Absolutely top-notch, some of the best I've ever had. Highly recommended! 💫

i’ve been going to this buffet since 2020 i think but i go here for so many occasions!!! the sushi bar is my favourite part and the hot pot is to die for.

The only Japanese hotpot and sushi buffet in Brisbane! Well run and great quality considering it’s $35pp for weekday lunch and around $50 for dinner. There’s also a hot food bar with fried dishes and fried rice etc. Have been here many times, wonderful venue for families, groups and functions in their private room!

Had an excellent time here with a very large Group. All the ingredients were very fresh and delicious! There was a good variety of soup bases for people with different tastes. Will definitely be coming back with some more friends to show them a good time at shabu house!

Up a flight of stairs on Mary Street, Brisbane city ( or the elevator if you’re feeling lazy ) and own a small corridor is Shabuhouse .
It’s an all-you-can-eat shabu shabu and sushi place and even though it was a Wednesday evening , we were quite lucky to get a seat ( luckily we went an hour and a half before to check , you probably need a reservation for this place ) Apparently it’s been here for ten years , so it’s very well unkept , the tables and fittings look new .
Shabu shabu is basically a hot pot , and the name comes from a Japanese onomatopoeia word describing the sound that food makes when you move it through simmering water .
You can order drinks at the table with a tablet , and line up for small pieces of sushi as well as the main course .
I chose the miso soup stock to cook my meat and veggies in , and loved the way that everyone could individually chose their soup stock , as opposed to cooking communally in a big pot and waiting for others to finish cooking . Steam was rising from the tables and watching the kid’s faces as they were concentrating on cooking made me smile .
The staff were efficient, friendly and constantly moving , cleaning and restocking plates , soups and foods . It’s was both an enjoyable meal and a type of entertainment- l loved to cook my own food my way , and watch my friend and kids experience cooking their way .
The person at the front mentioned that mangement was thinking of adding a dessert bar , and was asking customers whether they thought it was a good idea or not , so hopefully this will be implemented. Watch this space !

Come here twice a year and it is still great food, service and atmosphere. Buffet meal and they are quick to clear tables and bring drinks when ordered. Highly Recommended. Just parking is hard to find around dinner times

My wife and I were wandering the city looking for dinner ideas, the subtle entry to the restaurant does not do it justice. Great food, fresh and wide ranging choices saw us pondering every move. Fast and courteous service topped off the night. We’ll be back.

The great buffet is here, lot of choices of raw and cooked foods, remarkable taste, and inexpensive. A lot of choices for food and drink. Very fast service for drinks We'll be back again soon 😊😊😊

My son and I dropped in without a booking on Saturday night and the staff were extremely accommodating finding us a table.

The food was delicious, spicy, and fresh. Everything was explained to us and they even let my son take home some extra brownie for his brother.

Shabu house will definitely be on my list of places to visit again.

Food was so good! Love the buffet style. Staff were lovely. The room temperature was still nice and cool despite all the hot food, which was lovely on a very warm night

Absolutely incredible selection of all-you-can-eat sushi, shabu hotpot soup and chicken!! Everything was delicious and really great quality. Service was A+, extremely quick and attentive. Great atmosphere and fun environment. Highly recommend and one of the best restaurants Brisbane has to offer. Will return to show all my friends this amazing restaurant! 10/10 must try!!

A delightful experience. I have never been a fan of sushi, but decided to try it after being convinced to try.

I was pleasantly surprised with the variety and I was able to find sushi types that I enjoyed! As for the hotpot, there is sadly little variety, however, all the ingredients are fresh and delightful.

Thank you for also having chips and deep-fried chicken as extra option! Had a beautiful evening and would recommend this place!

What a awesome experience. The food was on point the service from staff great and fast. Selection was great and very tasty and fresh. $35 well spent. Kids will love it select and cook ur own and chicken wings an sushi as well! 👍🏽👍🏽
