Koto Sanpo

10/10 my go to Udon in the CBD

I always order the tempura Udon & my favourite part is the kakiage topping but sometimes they don't include it - I'm told it depends on the delivery. It's a bit disappointing when they don't have it so make sure to ask first!

The omurice is amazing, it's very creamy and delicious, if you're a fan of eggs you'll love this dish, it works well for any meal of the day!

The icecream float drinks are really delicious, the icecream is sooo yummy but it's definitely more of a dessert than a drink to pair with food - the other drinks are all quite unique & worth a try!

Have been coming for takeout matcha soft serve for years. This was the first time that we dined in.

Ordered only a dessert to share. Very delicious. There is heaps of cornflake at the bottom which is surprisingly tasty and work well with the matcha ice cream. Took me right back the time I travelled in Tokyo.

Had a good look at the whole menu. Not only the desserts looks delicious, the savoury foods look attractive too, especially the omurice and the bento. Will come back soon to try them out.

Ordered 2 bento, eel and hamburger, looks like a piece of art and absolutely delicious.

Finally Elizabeth Arcade is back to life! So happy with Koto Sanpo. Their teriyaki chicken, salmon and namban chicken bento 🍱 were delicious. Love the addition of really fresh sashimi, agedashi tofu, tamago, tempura prawn, miso soup with every bento.

Their omu rice range is my absolute favourite! Took me back to Japan 🍲

Their matcha desserts though.. amazing!! Big love for the parfait, matcha parfait pearls and anmitsu. 🍵🍰

Love their matcha softserve, matcha latte, watermelon matcha drink, matcha yuzu, the sweetened matcha (with just enough sweetness) drinks.

Ps their "pork ginger set" is only served on weekdays and it is so delicious!

Customer service was friendly, efficient and attentive too.

I visited this café several times before, the food are always good and exquisite. Today it’s really impressive for their customer service, I finished my meal and just left half part of the meat pie because of half-cooked in the middle. When I were ready to go and I told the staff about this, just wanna they know so that it would not happened to next orders. At the end, they insist to return the money back which surprise me in unexpected way. I already eaten almost everything on my plate so I didn’t mean to ask for the money.
I highly recommend this Café and will come again.

Great Japanese restaurant, nice atmosphere. Many people enjoy Japanese meals. A lot of dishes to chose. Friendly stuff, beautiful matcha icecream, drinks, desserts.
I ordered pork katsu, also aonori chips and matcha icecream. So delicious!

This place is bomb! Best curry I have had in a while. Can be casual or get together place to eat. Had their chips and beef curry and I have enjoyed it thoroughly. Matcha drinks are sweet and smooth to drink with the toppings they have preset or available to put in. Didn't get a chance to eat their desserts thought but it looked exciting!

Cozy atmosphere with lovely staff who are friendly and very fast service.

I ordered the pork katsu lava omurice and it was lovely. The demi glaze sauce is so good and wanted to try the cream sauce but sadly a few menu items were sold out and/or unavailable. Will definitely be back to try the other meals and desserts!

The food was amazing and was served quite quickly. Their lunches hit the spot but their matcha and desserts are where they shine. Hot or cold, their matcha drinks are made beautifully and will suit anyone's tastebuds. Their desserts (especially their matcha ones) are presented picture perfect with an amazing taste to match. It's a nice quite retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city

Pleasantly surprised. I went in with no expectations but enjoyed myself. The matcha lemonade was better than expected, the matcha parfait is just 👍👍👍 the quality of matcha they use are definitely good.

The portions of the main meals are also pretty generous. Pretty happy with their omurice (feels like it can be shared!)

I'd definitely go again because i want to try ALL THE MATCHA!

Excellent japanese cafe on Elizabeth St with a good size menu and with a big focus on matcha flavoured items.

Been back a few times and food has been consistently good.

Service is great, with staffs making sure customers dine-in or takeaway, directing them to the correct counter or seating place. Menu is clear and easy to understand. Matcha is the main flavour they are promoting while also offering an array of Japanese foods. We ordered a Matcha latte with red beans and it tasted nice. However, we would have love it more if it is filled full of the cup. Cup could also bear a logo of the store instead of a plain transparent plastic cup, presenting additional visual attractiveness.

Best bento box I've ever had, and I've even travelled to Japan a few times! Salmon was cooked perfectly, flavours well balanced. Very authentic, chef didn't even speak English. Great service, comfortable seating. Going back two days in a row, that's how much I enjoyed it. Matcha drink was yummy too.

Good service and well presented meals. LOADS of matcha drinks to choose from. The omurice with katsu beef was great, cooked juuuuust right so it was very tender.

If you’re looking for a nice place to sit, tasty food to eat and perfect dessert at once, I would highly recommend Koto Sanpo to you. Koto Sanpo, means a walk in Kyoto, really brings Kyoto to Brisbane people. I had the Omu rice with Demi glaze and Curry sauce for lunch, the texture of omelette blend with the sweet tomato paste rice glazed with the sauce. Nyumm!

Don’t forget to order the matcha dessert, all about matcha here is delicious and nyummy!

Seating are also comfortable inside and outside with affordable price for you to sit and chill with friends.

After having a dinner in casino, it is nice to be KOTO just having a drink.No matter all the food sold out, but they still have heps of dessert and drink for choose. Good place for gathering.

Welcoming staff and authentic flavour. A peaceful oasis in the middle of Brisbane CBD.
The fries with soy and butter were so morish. Matcha frappe drinks had beautiful flavour.
Loved the matcha yuzu drink, so refreshing.
Try the tomato salad - it was a flavour bomb! And so nice in the heat 😎🤗.

Had a very pleasant experience here. If you are a lover of matcha this place ticks a lot of boxes. The menu offers a range of drinks and sets and the food options are vast, from quick bites to substantial meals. This place is a must visit for a reasonably priced japanese meal. Will visit again to try more of the dessert and larger meal options!

As an avid lover of matcha, this cafe/restaurant is a product of one of my wildest dreams. Desserts and drinks aside, the food itself is exceptional too. My favourite part about this cafe/restaurant is the menu selection, there are so many exciting items that it gives me all the more reason to come back.

Authentic Japanese food with super fast service. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Curry dishes and matcha ice cream is a must-try! We look forward to visiting Koto Sanpo’s new location.

Bento bowl ingredients were top notch quality and lovely freshness, pancake special was delicious! More matcha drinks options than you can imagine!
