Dr Libby Anderson

Had Libby perform a Carpal Tunnel release on my left wrist. Could not recommend her highly enough. Surgery and after care without a hitch. After 2 weeks virtually back to normal in strength and sensation. Her whole team are extremely professional. It was a pleasure to deal with them all. Would definitely see her again if needed. Highly recommend Dr Libby Anderson. Libby is a no nonsense, honest and transparent surgeon who will give you all the facts. Her team is amazing and I can not speak highly enough of my experience with Dr Anderson and her staff. Libby listened to what I had to say and in conjunction with her team (OT, Psychologist, admin staff) developed a management plan tailored for my individual needs. Libby demonstrated a genuine interest in my needs and made herself available to answer all my concerns and questions. Libby is very knowledgeable and approachable. I felt at ease from the moment I walked into her office. I feel confident in moving forward and returning to work a happier and healthier person thanks to Dr Anderson and her team. I highly recommended Dr Anderson and could not fault any of my dealings with her or her team.

From the minute I walked into the clinic I felt like I was part of a family. Libby says it how it is and initially it was hard to accept that I was 'too old' for reconstructive surgery however it has been a success from a pain perspective. My condition required fusion for SLAC wrist. The entire process was explained in detail and the follow up visits with the therapist (I cant remember her name) were always a friendly and helpful experience.
Libby is a quality surgeon with a quality team and leaves no question unanswered, recommended 100%.

This week marks 12 months post my Proximal Row Carpectomy surgery (Google it!), conducted by Libby. I have been pain free from the day of the operation, which she had suggested was a likely outcome.
I couldn't have hoped for a better surgeon. Life is good. She is amazing.

As an accident prone active person, I was shocked to hear that I needed surgery & bone grafting to fix some fractures in my wrist. I am now 8 months post injury and have had 2 surgeries by Dr Libby - 1 for the repair & another to remove all metalware. It was a horrible moment when I was initially told I needed surgery…just thinking of the intricacies, the bone grafting and the recovery afterwards. Dr Libby’s manner was direct but compassionate and very engaging. She is the surgeon you want for anything to do with hands and wrists. She repaired everything to a level I never thought possible and I am now fully functional with all strength that I had before my injury. I have been in and out of specialist clinics in my life but her clinic is one I actually want to return to. Thank you! See you on the riverwalk 😊

Dr Anderson did what three other Brisbane hand surgeons couldn’t or wouldn’t do (still not entirely sure which is the case)…after a decade of failed procedures, loss of function and ongoing pain in my wrist and forearm she has restored full pro-super nation to my wrist and I am pain free with strong grip strength…good job Doc U Rock
