Really authentic northern Chinese food. The interior is a bit dated, but the friendly service more than makes up for it, and the prices are reasonable. They have a liquor licence. We'll be back.

Excellent little restaurant hidden away in Ashfield, away from all the lines and hustle on the main strip. I've been here over 10 years ago, but although the name has changed and the owner has changed, the flavors have remained the same.

Owner was extremely welcoming and the serving sizes were way beyond expectations. We had enough takeaway for the following nights dinner.

Will definitely come back again and highly recommend this place if you're in the area. Personal favorites include their fragrant pork (鱼香肉丝), hot and sour soup and sweet and sour pork.

Went there during lunch. The owner served us. Very attentive and welcoming.

After all the dishes we ordered served, the owner saw we got kids with us, he decided to gave us an extra dish as dessert. The crispy sugar coated sweet potato which I is kids favourite. Thanks for the generosity.

Authentic Sichuan and northern Chinese cuisine, which is a nice addition to the Shanghainese restaurant that line the main section of Ashfield. You should definitely give it a try, particularly if you like a bit of chilli.

Came back again for the best fried green beans in Ashfield! Very tasty, home style Chinese restaurant at an upstairs venue. The manager is very friendly and the food is great. We also tried the chilli tofu and pork and chives dumplings, which were great.

There is beer available - Tsing Tao and Corona - as well as soft drinks.

We will be back again.

My friends and I went there twice in 2 days, that’s how amazing it is! Randomly ordered several dishes, they are all yummy! Very authentic hometown food. Will go back again next time in Sydney.

This is one of the better Chinese restaurants in Ashfield. Great food and excellent service. The best dish was the Sichuan Chili Fried Chicken.

Found this fantastic little restaurant with great reviews and they were right. We were warmly greeted and served almost immediately. We ordered the Beef Black Pepper which was hands down the best I’d ever had and the Salt and Pepper Squid which was absolutely beautiful. I can’t wait to return to try their other dishes. So glad I found this hidden gem.

Love everything about this place, love the food, love the owner, always come away feeling immensely satiated. The cabagge and noodle dish sooo good, everything is good.

Lives in Strathfield and go there pretty much once a week for dinner. Authentic northern Chinese food. Lots of varieties. Friendly staff. Price is reasonable. Would be nicer if had better interior decorations.

one of my favorite restaurant! I use to living in north east of China, there is not many my local food restaurant in Sydney can represent my hometown food until I found this one. Friendly staffs and delicious food!!!!

imo the boss is more powerful than Artie from the Sopranos. and the best salt and pepper tofu i've had in a long time, (possibly ever).

The sweetest hardworking server you could ever have… patience is key here but I’m telling you it’s worth it… so much food for such good prices
