I have always found staff helpful and pleasant. Great range of products and prices. They actually go with you to show you were the item is if you can't find what you want. I wear a mask at all shopping centres as have a compromised immunity due to cancer treatment once a week. Never had any issues with staff over mask.

this shop is amazing! has everything i’m looking for even the most random things. i sometimes go in not looking for anything in particular but find a million things i could use in my home! would recommend if you love good deals on crafts and homey things.

The young male and female are fantastic staff, they know their stock well and can easily answer any questions and bring you right to the item.

The store is neat and kept well, the young Asian male staff member was especially helpful with my problem! Great service I'll definitely come back when I need anything.

I was on a mission, my friend: my grandad needed a battery-powered handheld fan, for medical reasons. So you can imagine I'm pretty intent on getting this thing. The big stores? Target, Kmart, Rays Camping, Officeworks, etc.? They failed me. But guess who came through, my friend. Dollar King, that's who, with the sweet handheld fan connect. Plus, good buddy at the counter was super helpful, let me take the merch outta the box and everything, chill human style.

This store is a good store, many like it in Melbourne. The only disappointment is the $10 Eftpos limit. People see that & say no let's go, cos it looks like a demand for people money. They actually lose money cos if a person want to spend $5 $6 $7 $8 or $9, that's still more money for them. That's why Melbourne gets more business. My friends saw the Eftpos & say let's go. This store lose money more than gain cos there shouldn't be a limit on the Eftpos. However it is a very good shop & you can find what you are looking for. Be mindful of the Eftpos limit.

Don't be fooled by the name. Came into the store and everything is not a dollar most things start at $3+ anyways good variety of product and some good stuff, friendly staff great shop.

The staff here are extremely rude and discriminatory. Today I watched my partner, who has a valid mask exemption for medical reasons, first be refused service and then surrounded by three members of staff in an attempt to intimate her out of the store for not putting one on. It was a disgusting display of power abuse by the staff, and something they had no right to do. In addition I noticed multiple aisles had stock all over the floor which you would think is more of a safety concern than whether my exempt partner is wearing a mask. Everyday I am more disappointed in humanity.

Disgusting service, won’t make eye contact. No workers speak English! You’re in an English speaking country!

Medical apartheid is something the owners hold against their customers. Valid medical exemptions for mask wearing and vaccination status is not followed here. What I have witnessed is highly confrontational and lacking human decency. If you want a pleasant and welcoming experience simply look elsewhere because there is no respect here and it is simply unlawful.

Refusing service is an abuse of the Discrimination Act 1992 (Cth) s6 and s24

To attempt to force or coerce wearing of a mask is a breach of the Biosecurity Act 2015 (Cth) s88 and s95

Extremely rude staff, and discriminatory,refused to serve. One of staff fat lazy woman sit there doing nothing, I asked help,she just ignored me.

Very rude staff. They are very proudly discriminative towards disabilities.

This staff here were extremely rude. Not friendly or helpful at all.
I won’t be shopping there again!
