I have been with Octec for a few years now. They have helped me in so many ways both in employment opportunities and in study as well. The Taree team and especially my case worker Daniel is a delight to see and be guided by. Cheers people your unreal.

The only person that lets this place down is the "Senior Manager". Having been with Octec for over 2 years, l've observed & been subjected to enough to leave an educated review. My experiences with her include her refusing to let me jobsearch & edit my own resume & cover letter on the Octec computer because my case manager wasn't present, & refusing a two second task to photocopy some paperwork while my case manager was away, because she wanted to play with her grandchild instead. Overall - She has proven routinely incapable of common sense, common courtesy or respect, & work - irrespective of type. There is one rule for her & whoever she likes, but those rules change as it suits her - she gets in the way in so many ways & is most unprofessional... an unproductive, big blight on an otherwise great place. It's a waste & a shame. She tries to command respect when the reality is that, in fact, she doesn't deserve it.
