Manning River Hotel

We ate here 3 nights of our 9 night stay. Staff, food, prices of alcohol and food plus customers (this is rare) all good. The 'feel' of the hotel is really good. The week day food deals are generous and cooked really nicely. Would have loved to try some of the deserts but we were both too full lol. Can thoroughly recommend.

Staff are very very lovely and the area is very clean and friendly. The food is very yummy especially the Friday nights with the sticky date pudding very yummy.
So respectful staff. Music is always great maybe need to turn up volume little bit more but other then that very lovely place to take the family out 😊 definitely a recommend place to go.

Popped in for lunch over Easter and was very impressed at the quality of the food. Definitely above average for pub fare!

I can’t give any more stars than above. The service was excellent and the food terrific. My wife and I enjoyed our lunch whilst playing keno. We bought raffle tickets and won a meat tray. It was so nice to be there, we felt like w belonged there. Thank you so much.

We had an amazing meal in their restaurant. The food was so good, and the service was fantastic. Bar staff are also very friendly. Would highly recommend The Manning River Hotel's restaurant if you want a night off cooking.

We booked a table ahead on a Thursday for 6:30pm and good job too because this place is popular! We were advised 40 min wait for meals, but the meals were ready in 25 min. The Boscaiola was beautiful and cooked perfectly. The 300g Fillet Steak (rare) with Parmy topper was also cooked perfectly. Servings very generous, so we skipped dessert. Highly recommended 👍

How great is the Manno now.. Great new bands playing every Saturday night. The bar staff are just lovely & friendly which is a pleasant change.
5 stars to the new owners on making the Manno a friendly welcoming place again.

We would like to thank the the bistro staff, today after travelling from Newcastle to visit a sick family member in Taree hospital, 20 of us turn up 2 minutes before closing. We could’ve been turned away but they chose to cook us lunch, and was one of the best meals ever. Thank u so much for your service in out time of need.
