I was really surprised and impressed, being my first visit. The young ladies were really fabulous. So positive in their demeanour. The cinema itself was very clean and fresh with comfortable seats. Very good parking.

Small but vert comfortable cinema. Price of entry and refreshments was quite reasonable. They get all the new releases as they are issued to the public.

Fay's twin cinema is very clean and the staff are always friendly. The seats are clean and comfortable for movie watching. The prices for movie tickets and at the snack bar are reasonable. Thank you for making my cinema experience great, Fay's Twin Cinema.

I hadn't been to Fay's Twin Cinema since I was in high school back in the 1970s and had the opportunity to take my wife and our two youngest children to see the latest Star Wars film while back in Taree on holidays.

What a delightful experience we had. The customer service was excellent, the cinema was clean, the bathrooms have been tastefully renovated, and the cinema seats were extremely comfortable with great back support.

Can't wait to return for another nostalgic and enjoyable night out.

I took my grandson to see Avengers last night he is 10, I was a little hesitant as to how I'd feel about it but I was very surprised I quiet enjoyed it. I enjoyed the Cinema the food was fresh the drink was lovely & cold. The Cinema was lovely clean & fresh. I'm not one to go out at night as I'm a bit tottery but the staff were lovely & i felt relaxed. I thank Fay's Twin Cinema Taree for a great night.

As a kid who grew up going to this cinema, it was a real treat to come and see a movie with my kids at Fays, some 25 or so years after my last visit. So many good memories stepping into the Twin again after so long. The place was just as I remember it. Super clean and tidy, great presentation, comfortable seating, super friendly staff and the best value (compared to the cesspool offerings from Event & Hoyts). You can book online & select your own seats ( just do that at least 1 hour before the session). So nice to be greeted by a happy smiling staff member at the Box office rather than a ticket machine. Candy bar deals are fantastic value and the best part is the popcorn was popped that day, not sitting in the machine for a few days getting stale. I really cant understand some peoples complaints about this cinema, locals should be grateful they have a well kept, clean, high quality place to see movies at extremely reasonable pricing. Sure it pre-dates things like Senstadium seating and VRX offerings, but sound and picture quality were equal too if not better than City cinemas. It was such a great experience compared to the overpriced, filthy, disgusting Event Cinemas product that it forced upon people in Sydney.

The place is nice and everything but the owner is a bit of a tool. Talks like his king of the world but he's just a little child inside. Also like to point out that you should upgrade your staff and also the seating. We live in the 21st century. Not hard to upgrade. Think you should stop making fake accounts and making really good reviews.

I am planning another visit and was looking to see what's on when I noticed the reviews - Wow...
People seem to forget it's a dinky little cinema complex in country Taree.
I've been a patron since the 80's when it really was a dinky joint.
They can only work with what they have, and they do a bloody good job with it!
They simply can't afford to hire staff to stand at every door, serve at the kiosk full-time, also clean the cinaas to perfection between viewings et al.
If you want everything the same as a big city joint, I'm sorry, the place couldn't even afford to open its doors.

We're lucky to have it, and I think it's really good for what it is!!!

Edit:

I forgot to mention the sound quality...it's really incredible! I still get a nice surprise each visit.

In response to the owner:

In my opinion (I'm 48, so that mightn't mean too much to the kiddies) the cinema doesn't really need a lot of work; the screen and picture quality, and sound are already top notch. I like the place.

That said, using "your" money to make "me" more comfortable will always make me happy, so...spend away, sir!

Good luck, I look forward to my next visit!

I came to Fay's Twin Cinema over twenty years ago and really enjoyed the experience. Unfortunately, I can't even remember what film I saw at the time. Like I said, it was over twenty years ago. A fair bit of water has passed under the bridge since then. I haven't been back to NSW for quite a few years. Fay's has the traditional 'old world' feel to it. So I certainly do appreciate that. Well done Fay's Twin Cinema. Please continue to provide for the public the excellent hospitality and experience that I had when I was there.

Folks after reading some of the reviews on here I wonder if people from Taree know what a bargain they have.. Adult $14.50 ... not $22 that I pay in Sydney.. Seats very comfortable, staff friendly , and they even show you to a seat..Parking free , and at the door. Sound top notch. Candy bar prices cheap, not like in Sydney, $5 for a snicker bar...Wake up Taree you have a real bargain..Sure they can upgrade, but what you have is a real bargain..Stop complaining and enjoy...Rant over...

A place that I have loved since childhood. It’s a nice place, with friendly staff and great service. It is a place I have loved for years, and I hope it continues to do so.
