BIG W Taree

I did a click and collect here they were super fast even though it was 3 days before Christmas. I went in to collect and buy acouple of other things and was served by Kylie at the service desk. She was so such a beautiful person I received the best customer service ever we left with the store with the biggest smiles. She is Definitely an asset.

Very comprehensive stock items, just about anything you need,staff are well informed & are always willing to point you in the right direction to find what you need. Prices very competitive, so can be cheaper than elsewhere. Very happy with this retailer.

No plans, went to find a present for a 1 yr old. Found the best pressie. Blow up castle with 24 balls. Baby boy loved it. Great price, on special for $24.00. Staff, as always, friendly and happy to help.

Best Big W i've been in. Huge range of stock in a well set-out store with friendly staff. If all Big W's were this good, competitors would not stand a chance - especially the chinese no-name, no quality brand selling coles-owned department store.

As far as vareity stores go in Taree these days, this is it!
That said, they're great!
I don't remember in the last 50 years any WW, Coles, BigW, K-Mart et al. ever having anywhere near enough staff on the floor, and this store's no different. They still manage to have a lovely lady greet you when you enter the store - actually, her main purpose may well be to check bags for people exiting (as I don't have a bag, I prefer to look at it as the greeting people scenario ✌).

They are, however, when you can find them, incredible! A small town often keeps the same staff for years because, in the way of advancement opportunities, things are woefully thin, so, thankfully for us shoppers, these guys know their departments inside out, and are very knowledgeable with the whole store itself.

They know their stock lines, they know their stock levels, their specials etc...

The store manager will do whatever is in her power to assist any way possible, and the staff, besides knowing their products, are all very friendly and will also do whatever they can to make sure you're looked after the best way possible.

There's the online bit of this now, and after looking up my intrest I generally know what's available, other times I might just be in the centre and "drop in", and it's times like that I find they might not have exactly what I'm looking for.

However, every time I leave the store, I experience one of two things: 1) satisfaction with my purchase
2) satisfaction with having better product understanding, and if they don't have what I'm looking for, I'll know more about the product, and wherr I might find it.

I love the store, and I love the staff!

One of the only places left that will still sell me lego sets and not give me suspicious looks just because I'm 35. Also, doesn't even smell like raw sewage all the time anymore. Would give a 6/5 if I could.

On most occasions I am very happy with service I get from Taree, and really it's not a complaint about service, but rather, communication and possibly procedure that needs changing. I say this because I got my husband to go into store when he finished work , which means he has to go home first ( tinonee) and swap vehicles as he can not utilise his work vehicle for personal reasons, and then drive to town to get the bike we lay by for our son and paid the extra money for it to be made up. He went to pick up, and it hadn't been made up, and was told the guy who died this wont be back till Saturday! This is no good to us, as my husband will be at port all day Saturday. Also as a side note, I had been in earlier this week, and advised staff my husband would be coming I to pick up, I even mentioned that due to me paying the extra to have put together that he would be doing it as it would not fit in my car, and all they advised me was that he would need to provide drivers licence and that they would leave note that he was to pick up. I work fulltime, my husband works full time, and have to say I'm a bit frustrated. Maybe something you can look at and change or font offer the assembly and charge for it.

Went into Taree Big W to buy a book as i was on holidays here. While there I apprached Alex in the photo development section. Asked if i could print photos from my phone Gallery. He was so helpful and informative. I left with 27 photographs. Thankyou Alex for the great customer service. Xx
