10yrs ago Wal Robbins did extensions on my home that is why when I wanted to do renovations I didn't hesitate to contact them again. From start to finish I was involved in all the decision making with nothing being too much. From meeting Ray who came out & took all the information required to start the process & going over the contracts, to talking with Aimee on the phone about payments or service providers for appointments, to meeting David (Site Manager) & his team throughout the build was a genuinely overall a fantastic experience. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them for any building job that you might require.

From the initial engagement with John, Wal Robbins Design Architect, we knew this was the building company we wanted to go with. We added a second storey with a bathroom, 2 x bedrooms and a lounge, and fully renovated the ground floor, with kitchen, laundry, bathrooms and extended ground level bedrooms and living areas. During this process we found Wal Robbins to be exceptionally professional. All staff and trades people were friendly, courteous and very obliging as we were living in the premises whilst renovating. Our supervisor Leigh together with Bali and the team were fantastic and on top of their game to keep things running very smoothly. We would highly recommend Wal Robbins for any renovation or addition as we are extremely happy with the result and have had many compliments from our neighbours.

We highly recommend this business. From the beginning when Ray arrived and sorted through incomplete/incorrect drawings from elsewhere to the end product, we were very happy. Excellent workmanship, excellent tradesmen and excellent service all round.

From start to finish our experience was Wal Robbins was simply outstanding. There are no doubt lots of good builders in Sydney, but what sets Wal Robbins apart is their focus on the customer - their approach to not just build a house but really get to know you and your family and what your needs are. You as the customer are at the centre of everything, not the house itself. We worked with Wal Robbins as they did my parents-in-law house 20 years ago (which they still remember) and highly recommended them.

We embarked on our project in the middle of market downturn and also becoming pregnant with our second child. John Bittar’s non-pushy and consultative approach reassured us that we were going to get what we really wanted. He gave us the space we needed to review our options and accommodated our ideas.

Throughout the initial stages and for the entire project Bali was a incredibly supportive and understanding of any changes we needed to make, offering experienced advise which saved us money and gave us a better result. Others no doubt would do as we ask and pocket the profit from our mistakes.

The biggest thanks and praise goes to our project manager David, who without doubt is probably one of the nicest people I have met, and combined with his experience and project management skills, actually made the building process an enjoyable experience (who would have thought?!). Always on hand to offer advice, he knew exactly what was happening and when, and delivered the project exactly on time ready for us to move in with our young family.

We’ve been in the house for going on a year now and still sit back int be evenings and marvel at the craftsmanship and quality of the work. The tradies that Wal Robbins works with are second to none, and having worked together for many years (in some instances decades) it speaks to the type of your firm you’re dealing with - strong relationships are rewarded with quality work, and that’s what you get.

I have no reservations in recommending Wal Robins for a building or extension project, and if we were ever to do this again we would be using them again!

I was initially impressed with their history & almost-ridiculous 25-year warranty, but when I saw their work I was flabbergasted. Great attention to detail, they even managed to find exact matching bricks for my 65-year-old house. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending them.

This building company is amazing. I’ve been so impressed with the professionalism of Ray and all the staff. Accuracy and precision are just two of the great attributes of this company. I’ve known them over 27 years and would highly recommend them to anyone.

I can only say they were totally unprofessional. Very reluctant to complete legally contracted work. My advice go elsewhere.

Replacing a family member who had moved from my late mothers house I was the point of contact. This company was simply unpleasant and unprofessional in their communications, last thing you want with a builder. My advice use someone else.
