One of the best bakery in SA! It is house in a little church and the hot pastries and sweet pastries were all lovely! I ordered the pork and fennel sausage (generous serve of pork and nicely flavoured) and the apple, rhubarb tart (crispy tart with generous serve of fillings that was not too sweet). The service was excellent and the coffee was not too bad.

We visited this place end of January. We arrived around 12pm when most of the menu nearly sold out. We were able to order Croque Monsieur. It was good for $16. We also ordered Almond croissant, it was perfect for me but now the ice chocolate, it was just like homemade chocolate.

The customer service was really good, all the server really nice and helpful. The place itself was beautifu, i love it.

The only thing we wont going back is too far to drive. Nearly an hour from our place.

I noticed this shop from IG and the collection of sweets definitely attract my attention. We came here around 9 and there’s plenty of choices.

My friend ordered a big brekky and I ordered a harvest slice. I especially loved my salad, it tasted so fresh and delicious. My chai latte is impressive as well. We took away some dessert and we know why here call artisan. The butter and the flour are special.

The space also have a great atmosphere, best way to start a day!

Okay I was another one who also stumbled across this little treasure cove of goodies on social media a few weeks ago and made it my life's mission to find any excuse to travel the hour here. So so glad I did because this bakery exceeded all my expectations. It was delicious. The pastries were so perfect and took me down memory lane to our trip to Europe. Good food is a honestly love language and this bakery has love written all over it. They have nailed it. I will be finding many more excuses to visit in the future.

Amazing bakery with amazing produce.
I have the Basque cheesecake and it was very good.
Located in an old church, it has a great vibe to it.
We sat outside and were able to take the dog.
The coffee is also very good. The staff there were very friendly and took time to say hello.
The selection of pastries looked top quality and if you struggle making decisions, you find this hard.
In highly recommend a visit.

Quality, delicious pastries, we had a variety of pastries, they were all fantastic. The coffee was great too. Even my little son loved butter croissant and babychino too. Highly recommend 👌

Friendly service and delicious food and pastries! I got a brekkie burger and a berry cheesecake pastry and was pleased with all.

The coffee was surprisingly good and they clearly take pride in everything they serve.

The atmosphere is very cute, the bakery is situated in a lovely old building, perhaps a church at one point, has lots of seating both in and outdoors. There are knick knacks for sale inside too

Service was fast and everyone was friendly and outgoing.

Lovely cafe in a small town in the hills. It seems like they converted an old church to a bakery cafe. I love the old atmosphere of interior and exterior. It looks and feels very peaceful. I like their bread, but love their pastry more, either sweet or savoury. Staff were super friendly. Good coffee, too. It was a bit tricky to find the Rise when I first visit this place as the building doesn't look like a shop. Watch out for the small A type sign board on the roadside. The only thing I would ask is that it would be great if there were individual price tags on each bread and pastry.

No words needed to describe this amazing little cafe. Great savory options, pies, breakfast menu and dessert to impress. Good vegan and Gf options too.

What can I say. I'm not normally one for bakeries. But your food blew me out of the water. I was expecting to find the food heavy and quite sweet. I was literally taken aback at how light the pastry was, and all the pastries we had were not crazy sweet nor heavy. Highly recommend 👌. I would give you guys a 10 out of 5, but unfortunately that's not an option here 😉. We'll be back for more!

My brother took me here on my recent trip to your beautiful state and I absolutely adored the place! From the vintage venue to the rustic decor, the place felt so homey and I fell in love with all the vegan options! I enjoyed a curried "egg", sprout and avocado bagel, and took home one of each of their vegan treats in the display case so my husband could experience the deliciousness for himself!
Highly recommend the choc chip cookie and the cream filled croissant! 🤤

Their meat options also looked very good, my brother was able to enjoy two sausage rolls which looked super gourmet.

My most favorite place during my whole stay in Aus. We even came back 2 days in a row (I have never done this before). Nice rustic decor, food is amazing, I love their French Toast, Nomand Chicken Sandwich and all types of pastry. My family enjoyed this place too. Highly recommended.

We popped up to Nairne's RISE ARTISAN BAKERY on a recommendation of a local. It was quirky in its mixture of things in the building having arts/antiques and other stuff as well as delightful food.
Friendly and prompt service and a pleasant outside area for the perfect day weather wise made for a lovely experience.

We visited Rise Artisan Bakery on a cold, wintry Sunday and what a beautiful place it is!
Such delicious, fresh pastries and great coffee/hot chocolate.
They had some stunning art work for sale and toys for little babe too which is always a plus!
Will definitely be coming back!

Definitely a cut above your average bakery. Well made and presented food. Roomy with a rustic atmosphere. I am a sausage roll hunter and I love the pork and fennel sausage roll with coarse ground meat not paste. Love it. 10/10. Brownie was a bit too sweet as we don’t use sugar.
