I couldn't recommend this stunning venue more! Great service, amazing grounds not to mention the divine food and wine, simply a great experience and must see! Thanks for our wonderful day we all had a great time!

Lovely korean fusion food at a perfect winery. Atmosphere was lovely, live music and the service was good. Food was spectacular! 💌 a bit on the pricey side but worth a try :) definitely one of my favourite food this year I’ve tried.

We are from Tasmania and was in Adelaide for the “AFL Gather Round” .. We decided to pick a Vineyard to go to and we chose “Howards Vineyard” just out of Hahndorf [as we wanted to visit there also] … Well we were not disappointed, we did a tasting and “Monica” looked after us, she was so so knowledgeable about not only Howard Vinyard the History and the Family, she was truely amazing .. then we did the $95.00 Menu it was so magnificent the Duck, and Lamb actually everything was magnificent.. We Joined the Wine Club and order the wines, we will definatly be back again and again… Truely a wondering exsperience and a credit to the Family and the Staff.

Sean and the entire Howard team were amazing, patient, helpful and fun, helping not only understand but completely nail the type of function I was looking for, to celebrate my milestone birthday with family & friends. With weather on our side, beautiful drinks, food & acoustic music we stretched out under the stunning oak tree in the picturesque setting, while the kids played happily on the sprawling lawned area. Could not recommend more highly - thank you all so much for the perfect day.

Absolutely Awesome winery. The food and wine was amazing, the location superb with lovely views but most importantly the staff were awesome, so friendly and welcoming. The entertainer, Kiki, was amazingly talented and so friendly. We are definitely returning. Thank you so much Howard Veneyard.

My friends and I were so incredibly impressed with the Rose and Dumpling event on the weekend. We booked a veranda VIP ticket for Saturday (27/01/24) and all 3 of us commented, multiple times throughout the day, about how well organised it was, how everything had been considered, there was nothing we could think of that had been forgotten, and how it was so obvious what a great team you all make! The event was beautifully set up, incredibly well staffed, and everyone was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, especially Deb Light. The food was delicious and my god, there was so much of it! We absolutely did not go hungry to the point we actually had a voucher or two left over (and we pride ourselves on not being dumpling-quitters but alas, we were beaten).

It was so well organised and I’ve reflected on that several times over the weekend and wanted to take the time to say thank you. I have already recommended the event to a number of my friends and we are super keen to come again next year. You should be proud of the weekend because you did an amazing job and your efforts were absolutely noticed and, most importantly, appreciated.

Absolutely phenomenal! We had a long lazy wine tasting that included generous pours customised to our taste, and friendly service from a knowledgeable host.
We finished the wine tasting very impressed, and then moved to our table for lunch. Wow!! I can’t think of a better tasting menu I’ve had in the last few years. The food was fresh, full of flavour, and cooked to perfection. We had a modified gluten & dairy free version of the menu, and again with generous serves. I can’t pick a favourite from the duck salad and the lamb rack. The roast potatoes were among the best I’ve had, and even the starter salad blew me away. The weather, the live music, and the setting sitting on the veranda completed the perfection. We can’t wait to return!

Amazing place, beautiful gardens, beautiful gin and wine. Was there for the dumpling and rose festival and the band was great and guests had a lot of fun. Dumplings were delicious too.

We honestly cannot even begin to thank Kelly and the team at Howard Vineyard enough for making our wedding THE most amazing day of our lives. Kelly and the team went above and beyond in every single aspect to ensure we had the absolute PERFECT day. From the very moment we walked into Howard’s Vineyard to view the venue as a possible wedding location, we were greeted with nothing but smiling and welcoming faces/people. It instantly warmed our hearts. Every single person we have dealt with at Howard’s has been amazing (and let me tell you, we have been there on many occasions!).

The vineyard and grounds themselves are absolutely breathtaking. We looked at a number of venues and from the second we walked into Howard’s lush green space; we were in awe – speechless. Every little bit of the venue is manicured to perfection (not just on wedding days, but every single time we have been there). It is THE most stunning and well-kept venue – alongside it being such a convenient location.
The team… where to even begin. Kelly, Sherida and the team are something that words just can’t explain. I would hate to count the number of emails that went back and forth between myself and Kelly, but not once did I feel that I was being annoying or bothering them. Kelly and team went above and beyond in EVERY single aspect (and I will be the first to admit I am a very fussy and pedantic person). From helping with the flower dudes (aged 3), to helping my Dad super glue his shoe just before going down the aisle, to bringing me my lipstick to me throughout the photos, from getting driven to locations for sunset pics to ensure we got the best shots, ensuring we never had a drink that was less than ¾ full and so so so much more.

No review in the world is going to be able to express how much we loved working with Kelly and the team at Howard Vineyard. I know that people say there is no such thing as perfect, but our wedding day at Howard Vineyard was nothing but perfection, you can ask myself, my husband, our families AND the 80 guests – we have had nothing but praises about the venue.
If you are looking for your perfect location, please please please go meet Kelly and the Howard Vineyard Team – you will not regret it.

I held my 21st birthday lunch at Howard’s, and I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. The team went above and beyond to make the day special. The food on the winter menu was 10/10, all my guests loved it. They were so accommodating with my guest dietaries and the large number of guests. They made sure the space was nice and cosy on the rainy day. Huge shout out to Sean and Sophie specifically who were absolute gems throughout the entire planning process. So easy to work with and overall incredible people. 100% recommend to everyone who is looking for an amazing lunch or event space.

Yesterday our group of four enjoyed a fabulous wine tasting with Deb. Our wines were accompanied by delicious food, paired perfectly with the wine. The atmosphere was warm & welcoming and Deb was an informative and gracious host. We will be back!

We were here for a birthday lunch and it was a very beautiful restaurant. A shame it was a rainy day because it would have been nice for the kids to play outside in the grassy area. We did the chef's shared menu "Hansang" which had a Korean twist to each dish. All dishes were delicious and very filling; we struggled to finish the lamb shoulder. Great service and we were lucky to have a live guitarist/singer during our lunch which elevated the atmosphere and experience even moreso.

What a delightful experience. Friendly, attentive service, incredible food (we had the HanSang four course menu) with just the right amount of time between courses. We are still talking about the Whipped Burrata dish… divine. Thanks for a lovely day out!

Totally enjoyed the food, wine, setting and friendly staff. Great location, nice live music in the background. Food was excellent.
Our only criticism was the exorbitant charge for sparkling water @ $12/750ml bottle, we were not aware of this cost until our bill arrived.

Kelly and her team at Howard’s Vineyard are honestly the best team ever. They made everything so easy from start to finish, from the moment we decided to have our wedding at Howard’s it was smooth sailing from there. Kelly was so attentive all day, ensuring my husband and I got enough to eat, that all our guests were enjoying themselves and even when we had some technical difficulties with our DJ, the team were quick to fix it. It’s no wonder they are SA’s finest wedding venue for a reason!

We've also been there a few times outside of our wedding to eat and the food, drinks and service are beyond compare!

Turned up a little early for our lunch booking on a Winter Saturday, so were sat dow for a surprise tasting which was delightful. Discovered a lovely choice of wine for lunch. We were seated by Ruby who guided us through the long lunch experience of 6 courses. Dietary requirements were easily accommodated and the food pacing was perfect. Also thanks to Donna who treated us to the tasting and Shaun the restaurant head and barista extraordinaire. A perfect birthday lunch experience!

The converted shed is simple yet beautiful. It has cathedral ceilings and cement floors. There is a wonderful mix of steel and wood. They have retained the stone wall of the original building. The food was superb and the prices were reasonable. The Howard wines were fresh, deep, and matched the food perfectly. The service was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this place for more than one or two or three visits.

We went to Howard for lunch and weren't disappointed with the beautiful flavours on offer. If you don't like spicy food though this place is not for you, most dishes had a little kick.
Not sure about the big open space, you'll see from my picture that the tables look lost. Needs breaking up in my opinion to make the restaurant a little more cosy. Service was good and the gardens surrounding are fab if you have time to lazy with a bottle 🍷

Excellent long lunch. Perfect way to spend a long weekend Monday with family enjoying a beautifully presented and tasting meal accompanied by great wines. Compliments also to the musician on the day - great music to dine by.
