A beautiful place. The Steiner inspired building, garden, and conception of music, art, and togetherness are situated in the magnificent surrounds of the Adelaide Hills bushland. This is a generous gift to the community and a great resource for the community.

A beautiful setting to enjoy high quality talented artists. The seats are quite comfortable and you can get a reasonable view from most seats. The acoustics were fantastic. The food is very simple, a plain soup with a roll. There are plenty of wines to choose from though and good coffee. There are flavoured mineral waters and lemonade as well and plenty of carafes of water. The toilets were very nice and clean with very nice Jurlique soap. Accessibility has been taken into account as there is a disabled parking area which can fit quite a few cars. Otherwise it is very enjoyable to stroll up from the main carpark through the beautiful garden. As we are close to spring, the garden is filled with stunning daffodils and some lovely leucadendron lines the edge of the carpark. The garden changes with the seasons and is always lovely to visit.

Just a sublime building in a perfect place.
Come for the garden, come for the view, come for the wine, come for the beautiful building, come for the interval refreshments, DEFINITELY come for the divine music...what can I say, you will not regret your Ukaria experience.

A beautiful venue. Great acoustic sound and stunning views. The technicians did a great job of supporting the natural sounds with some well-balanced mixing.

Ukaria has magic. It resonates with beautiful music but also with the generosity of the place which oozes from its every pore, nook and cranny. Tonight's concert given by Dylan Henderson fitted the magic: Chopin at its best, played with love and power and sensitivity. A great artist. The whole room vibrated with the emotion of meeting such power and feeling.

Ukaria, located just east of Mount Barker is a true gem of Adelaide. It is quite possibly the best acousticly designed venue in Australia that I have had the pleasure to visit. Ukaria has an amazing program through out the year featuring some of the best musicians in Australia and the world. It is a small performance space so the audience is close to the performers no matter where you sit. For piano concerts the its best to sit on the right looking from the performance area.

A fabulous place to see musical recitals. This beautifully designed building looks over a gum studded valley and hills. Sublime.

The venue itself is creative, modern, and set amongst beautiful gardens, with ample parking. Set on a hillside, with both a vineyard and native bushland as backdrop. It is a performance centre for the arts, predominantly orchestral music I believe.
