Very friendly staff, accommodating to patrons. The food was absolutely amazing, I enjoyed the cauliflower in curry dish. Got the Korean fried chicken for our main, I would have liked more pickles in it, as they were a refreshing bite to have between chicken pieces. The corn was really cool too. The ice cream and Belgium chocolate mousse for dessert was smooth and not too rich or sweet, so easy to eat.
We also liked the music, they were playing covers of popular songs, it was fun trying to figure out what each song was.
Overall had a great time!

This place gets better and better. The taste, the beautiful presentation. The Korean fried chicken had a thick crunchy crust that encapsulate the favor within, sealing the juicy bite size chicken. The beef was the star ! The picture does not do it justice. Glad I found such a friendly restaurant.

Popcorn shrimp and the angry bird ( if you like spicy order the pi55ed off bird ). Its really good. You wont be disappointed

Went there for the first time tonight… great experience! (Especially for someone with dietary requirements.)

My parents went here for NYE and have been a few times since already. I have Crohn’s Disease and associated dietary requirements (largely vegan and onion/garlic free). When there one time they asked the chef if they could accommodate me - they were more than happy/able to whip up some custom dishes for me with a few days notice!

When I got to the restaurant, the waitress said the chef had already prepped a few dishes for me based on my requirements/requests. The chef brought them out throughout the night and ran me through the details of each dish - all were super tasty! He even took on my request for vegan protein (tofu), which I’m not sure he normally has in the kitchen by the sounds of it.

Beyond the food, the service was very lovely - waitress very helpful, and chef loved a good chat! Definitely recommend.

We had the best dinner here! The food was absolutely delicious as were the cocktails. We got veggie dumplings, Wagyu meatballs (not pictured), cauliflower share plate (to die for!), Wagyu steak, and imperial beef rib hot pot. We loved everything.

The waitress was so friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We were also served by the male chef who was funny, nice and gave lots of advice about the food. We already can't wait to come back. Thank you for a great night.

holy moly, this place honestly showed me how the 5-star-rated place should be. It was my first degustation experience and I was absolutely blown away by every dish that came out. My goodness, every bite was enchanting. Texture was amazing. I don't know anything about food. But eating 6 course meal made me think about how on earth a human being could come up with such brilliant food.

I was here with mum, fiance, and a future mother-in-law. Even the next day we talked about how amazing the food was. We all revere the chef and the staff.. The boss did not even want to take our tips. When we insisted, he gave them to one of his staff.

The place really changed the notion of people eating together😭... Great food brightend up our conversations..

Fiance said that this place was way better than other degustations he's been to.. including the one which cost $500 per person.

Visited on Sunday night for a date night with my husband. We enjoyed dishes from the degustation menu. The highlight for me was the Wagyu steak, it was just delicious. Service was friendly and we didn't wait long at all for our food. Definitely recommend here for a date or a small group of friends who want to enjoy a conversation and a good meal. Parking is available on street and is timed, but can be hard to find.

This place is a hidden gem! The dagger station menu with matching wine is incredible and also great value. The staff are extremely nice and helpful, and the owners are hilarious. We always have a great night at this place highly recommended!

We had a very enjoyable experience, and I would highly recommend it. The food is delicious. We had a selection of meals and shared. Would like to try more. I will definately be back.

9 stars for the service. I didn't give it 10 just for the fun of it! But deserves a 10. The young lady that served us has a great sense of humor and understanding of how to please the guests. This is not to take away from anyone else, it's just she stood out the most.

Her engagement with us, for me, was fresh and really what is lacking in service based businesses. Great work Isabella (Isabelle?).

The owner is always great fun and there to accommodate. Highly recommend.

Get the degustation and the warm sake. Can't go wrong.

The dishes were exquisite! My favourites dishes were the seafood dishes! So tantalising deliciousness goodness 😍😍😍 and the cocktails were amazing! So refreshing and yummy!!

I loved the homemade plum wine also, perfect and delicious! I think you should start selling the bottles online hahahaha it would be a great success!

Omg such an enjoyable dinner here. We ordered all the popular items from google photos like the prawn, calamari, beef hot pot and angry bird chicken. Everything was delicious and packed full of flavour! Initially I didn’t think we should order the beef rib hot pot as you can get similar dish elsewhere in Korean restaurants, but the missus wanted to. Great decision! Best beef rib hot pot I’ve had at any Korean restaurant.

AMAZING restaurant! The food was sensational and the owner went above and beyond helping me to organise a small surprise celebration for my bridal team. A lovely, warm, and calming atmosphere, sensational cocktails and menu names that gave us a bit of a laugh! Do yourself a favour and go!

Had a great time here on a busy NYE. Ordered the 8 course degustation and enjoyed every dish. We were there for about 3hrs but there was usually an appropriate amount of time between each course. The head chef is a character and is mostly out with the diners serving and explaining the dishes which made for a fun experience.

We started off with the Miso Kingfish and drinks, but ended up ordering more than we had intended as each dish had a wow factor. We ended up ordering the 2 cocktails, 1 mocktail, Popcorn Shrimps, Tempura Fish Tacos, Oh Crab, Teriyaki Chicken, Wagyu Steak & Wagyu Meatballs. Most restaurants usually have a signature dish but at Seven Lanterns, we couldn't choose our favourite as all of them were so delicious. The owner made us feel very welcome, and cocktails were better than most places, so will definitely be back to try the other items on the menu.

Myself and three girlfriends dined there last night. Truly amazing! Every dish was an explosion of flavour, and plenty of it! We had the degustation menu. We weren't rushed either! Give it a try if you haven't already, you won't be disappointed 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Let's start by saying I found about this place because my girlfriend loved one of the dishes from her childhood.

I walked in without high expectations, I thought, 'Nicky hasn't come here in a long time, maybe it's not as good as she remembers it.'

We started with the sumo dumplings. When they came out I looked at how crispy they were and wowww! Probably the best dumplings I've had! Then I thought, if anything, at least the dumplings were amazing!

The next dish was Nicky's favourite, the prawns. First I tried the cheese and I thought, 'mmm really good!' Then I tried the cheese with the prawn and the sauce and I thought, 'nah that's it... I can't cook...' It was amazing! I've never had anything like it before- I was sucking on that shell until there was nothing left. I thought, if this is her favourite dish we have reached peak.

Our last dish was beef short rib hot pot. I I've had this dish before so I thought it can't be that amazing. But when I tried it, boy I was wrong! You know how people say off the bone? This was actually off the bone! At other places the flavour is watery or bland, but this one packed so much flavour! It was perfect! Then the chef came and showed us how to eat it properly and it was even better!!

I had a great experience, the service was the best, can't wait to go back! My girlfriend said 'I wish I could give them more than 5 stars!'

Lovely place with beautiful ambience. Every dish of the degustation was delicious and generous. Service was personal and exceptional. Highly recommended for date nights, special occassions or just to spoil yourself.
