Xage Vietnamese

I really really like xage, super cool and super cool food. All the food is really fresh and has great flavours. The staff are really friendly and they even bring water to the table without asking for it. If you like Vietnamese food and you are in Surry Hills then look no further!

Xage offers customers the real Vietnamese feel. The food is unbelievable, it's fresh and full of flavour. The restaurant itself is pretty tight and noisy and you may be sharing the end of your table with someone else, however, this is what Vietnam is all about. It gives the perfect Vietnamese street food feel and you feel like you could be easily sitting in a little cafe in Saigon. I highly recommend Xage, especially any of their beautiful rice paper rolls (esp duck) or ginger chicken. Service is quick, cheaper than most places around and portions are large.

Love the foods, would advice booked as this place is heavily pack.
We have been going back to this restaurant several times and everytime is always perfect no matter what menu we ordered.
The winter melon omelette looks very simple and not appetising at all. However, it tastes superb to my Asian tongue.

Hidden gem on Crown St. Their menu is classic with a few variations and delicious. Decent price, good portions, and friendly staff. It's a more locally known and visited spot, but won't disappoint!

BYO @ $1.50 pp, great food, can often get a table quickly but may have to wait 10-20 mins on a Friday or Saturday as it's always busy. The slow cooked beef with lotus root is seriously the best dish imo. All portions are quite large so go a long way and are easy to share.

Great Vietnamese flavours you won't get in a typical Vietnamese restaurant. These are more share dishes than individual meals which is different from conventional Vietnamese restaurants. Pricier but still affordable and on the classier side of the spectrum.

Delicious Vietnamese dinner. Must try is the pork shoulder curry. The size of the entrees are small but the mains are generous. Local Vietnamese drinks are nice and overall ambience is pleasant when you sit outdoors.

Really good vietnamese and if you're hungry food comes out instantly. I suggest booking as there have been occasions when i've just rocked up and have had to wait 20-30 minutes for a table. The rice paper rolls are all absolutely delicious and a must when you come here. It's also BYO.

Food is always spot on. Very fresh and the service is flawless. It's small so it can be hard to get a table. Its byo which is a big plus!

The food is really great! The broth of the noodle soups are packed with flavor! The spicy sesame prawn noodle soup is a must!
