I bought a cassette deck and amplifier from here and I could not be happier'
It sounds amazing and I find that my phone and computer sound so much better thru my $1000 vintage amplifier than my $2000 JB hi-fi modern day amplifier that is only 2 years old.
The clarity and power on hand with the vintage amplifier is beyond amazing
They really don't make them anymore like they used too' 🙏🙏🙏

Recently I bought a Sony 6head VHS/DVD combo unit from "classic hi fi" at 4terry road Box Hill Sydney, from the very first contact to receiving the package Holger treated me with respect, consideration and honesty, his advice was very helpful and when the package arrived,we were most impressed with the packaging, the player was double wrapped in bubble wrap the remote control was in a separate sealed bag, once both items were unwrapped (it was like Xmas morning 🙂) the condition of the player was immaculate,it far exceeded the online description, and the remote control appears to be brand new, we are truly most impressed with our purchase, I set up the unit running it through our TV and put in a tape of speedway sidecar racing of which I was involved with back in the 70s ,and to watch this racing again after many years was just fantastic, Holger advised us to buy this unit over a four head unit as the picture quality is far superior, and while it cost a little more, the old saying goes " the quality remains long after the price is forgotten", in short, I can truely "highly recommend dealing with Holger at "classic hi fi at 4terry road Box Hill Sydney, forget the rest, these guy's are the best, we WILL be shopping there again, you should as well, you'll be glad you did,
on behalf of me and my other half ,cheers 🍻 regards Robbie Renalson Evandale Tas

Myself and a few mates have a varying array of old analogue hifi gear. I was impressed by the sheer number of sub categories this shop has. Just by looking and reading the ads for refurbished gear plus pricing wasn't outrageous. Trying to find a belt for my old Luxman A522 Turntable - bought it, a Rotel Amp and a pair of Time Window Towers back in the mid 80s - great gear!

I purchased a bottle of "Head Cleaner" mistakingly thinking it was a specially formulated product to do the job - 10ml for $9.50. It turns out it is just Isopropyl which can be purchased from Bunnings - 125ml for $9.50. When I called to complain you said "that's just how it is" and thanked me for wasting your time by bringing this price gouging to your attention, well thank you for your totally unreasonable pricing and attitude. Buyers beware!!!
