Astra Falls Creek

We had a delightful dining experience here. The food, service, and drinks were all exceptional. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and highly recommend it as a special treat while at Falls Creek.

We had an exceptional time staying at astra for 5 nights, beautiful and comfortable rooms and facilities and lovely staff. We enjoyed using the spa, sauna and pool when ski conditions weren't great. The bar and restaurant offers fantastic cocktails and food, in a beautiful setting. We also enjoyed the unique cellar experience dinner and wine tasting hosted by the wonderful Caroline. Would highly recommend astra, it made our first trip to falls creek one to remember.

We have just returned from one of the best family experiences at Astra. The accommodation, facilities, restaurant and service were beyond expectations. Whilst all of the staff were amazing we must give special thanks to Monica whose assistance with all things big and small was outstanding. She made us feel like VIPs (even though we are not). We will definitely be returning next year!

After waiting 3 years to get here The Astra hotel didn’t disappoint. From the initial pick up to the welcome, the room, the lounge, the restaurant, the bar even the ski locker room it was perfect. Most importantly all the staff were so friendly and on to everything. We didn’t even get time to experience the day spa or pool so I booked for next year.

Really nice and cozy vibe. Great place to relax by the fire with a wine/cocktail. Lots of different areas to sit, and kid friendly too, with child seats & marshmallows to roast on the fire! 👍

What an awesome place to stay in the mountains.
Loved the atmosphere and the team,
my partner and I stayed three nights there, enjoyed the dinner, breakfast and the spa area.
Just hope there wifi was a bit more efficient.
The bedroom and the bathroom are really nice and comfortable.
We will definitely return.

Had a great stay here at Astra. The staff were particularly great. Everyone was good looking and they provided great service to all of my needs. I especially liked Emmy, Huddy and Gabe. I hope that they are appropriately remunerated with $20 vouchers for all their hard work. Would recommend :)

Astra has the atmosphere bang on. The bar lounge is exactly what a ski holiday needs. The open fire is beautiful and those couches are just the perfect spot for one of their brilliant cocktails (not the pine cone schnapps though). The day spa is a must do ski trip necessity although getting bookings can be difficult. The pool, sauna and steam area just have the perfect snow holiday vibe. Last but not least the staff are utterly lovely and professional. I can’t wait to return.

My daughter had her 4 day wedding celebration there. I cannot speak highly enough regarding the facilities and staff at Astra. They picked up all the guests and all the wedding decorations, put up decorations etc. The cocktails are amazing and the food is 5 star. Even their breakfast buffet is delicious and generous. The spa treatment, facials, massages are wonderful. The in house hairdresser and make up artists are top class. The staff worked hard to make this a wonderful experience for our 50 guests. The lodge is something out of a James Bond movie, with an open fire place, timber and stone features with a beautiful view onto the slopes. Also has a great pool, steam room and sauna. The list goes on ...Thank you for a great experience

My daughter and I both enjoyed a massage and facial by Sienna and it was up there with the best. She was professional, personable and had great technique she really got into the hotspots and worked out a lot of serious knots. We both just loved the whole experience and could immediately feel the benefits. A must do!!!!🤩

Stayed at the Astra for 3 Peaks and we couldn't have asked for a better place. Super friendly and efficient staff (big thanks to Sam on reception) for going the extra mile. Decor and building in general is stunning but even better is that it functions perfectly and is cleverly designed. Great location. Would definitely stay here again. Day spa was great too.

A friend for life. Exceptional hotel. Closest thing to Europe’s ski slopes and the hotel has a true lodge feel. We love it here. So good we stayed twice in 2 weeks. Shannon the General Manager is a gent, all the staff have been taught customer Service “101” and the lodge itself is beautiful.

You can’t do any better than Astra in Australia’s snow fields.

Everything about this hotel is awesome, from the pick up to the drop off. The recent renovations have created a cosy modern hotel with a lot of the original charm still there. Food and wine were exceptional. It was hard to find anything better in the village. We felt right at home at Astra with lots of comfy spaces to snuggle up in the bar and library after a day skiing. Best of all were the staff. Tom and the team just look after you so well. Will be back!

Great cocktails with good variety and knowledgeable bar staff. Fantastic atmosphere . Who doesn't love an open fire! Decor is perfect for a warm night in. Friendly staff that serve with a smile. Highly recommended .

Wow! This place has stolen my heart! We had our bespoke winter wedding at Astra, hiring it exclusively for 2-nights for all of our guests. The venue is stunning and has old world charm, it feels like you are in a beautiful ski resort in Europe. The staff at the Astra went above and beyond to make our dream wedding a reality. They were all so friendly, personal, enthusiastic and professional, even signing a beautiful wedding card for us at the end of the weekend. Their food and chef's were outstanding, with gourmet 5-star food the whole weekend, including an amazing wedding cake by their pastry chef. The Astra will forever hold a very special place in our hearts and those who attending our magical weekend there. Would highly recommend staying at the Astra in Falls Creek for a romantic snow getaway, special occasion or a wedding!

We had a most exquisite restaurant experience. The tasting menu was sublime. The wait staff were attentive and we enjoyed the banter which added to an enjoyable evening

Consistently terrific food that is of a quality above what ski resorts normally offer for most reasonable rates.
Very well trained, friendly professional staff.
If you enjoy high end, fine wines this property is a must, seek out Luis the sommelier, for cocktails... ask for ‘G’.

My partner and I visited the day spa today and Siena did an amazing job, we had two deep tissue remedial massages and felt so relaxed after. We will definitely come back again next time!

Food was impeccable and wait staff were wonderful. Our order got lost in the kitchen, but our waitress was onto it before I'd even thought to ask, plus they doubled our sides and comped us a coffee! The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful. This was our second visit, and even without the snow out the window it's still a very nice place to be.
