Dr. Macgibbon Anne

I had a great experience with Anne as my OB for my second birth. It’s clear from the start she is very knowledgeable and one of the best in her field, I felt safe in her hands. She is a very kind and patient person, and was supportive throughout of my birth choices. I highly recommend her, if we have a third baby we’ll definitely be returning to her

Anne is an absolute rockstar obstetrician. I’ve had two babies with her and cannot recommend her highly enough. She is extremely experienced, calm, reassuring and supportive all through pregnancy, and always made me feel like me and my babies couldn’t be in safer hands. She is phenomenal (and patient!) during labour and genuinely caring in the days after. I recommend her to all my friends and would go back in a heartbeat if I was to have a third - she’s the best medical professional I’ve encountered

Dr Anne was my OB for the birth of both my sons and I cannot recommend her enough. Not only is she incredibly knowledgeable but she also exhibits a calm and reassuring nature that just made my experience stress free. She is also extremely open to your opinions on birth and really made me feel like I was in the drivers seat.

How did I heard about Doc Anne, Well, first her name has surfaced on lower North shore and other mum groups as well in a positive way - alot of good things about her on social media and she was also highly recommended of one of our closest friends who was a former Consultant in RNSH (apparently Doc Anne helped her cousin to fix her reproductive issues).

Meeting her was a bit awkward because she is so calm (in a good way). Just grateful to have Dr Anne Macgibbon as my Obstetrician. Calm, Very professional, straightforward, a good listener. Very good communication with staff. She looked after me on my 3rd pregnancy until I delivered. She did an amazing job with my c section scar. A must have Obstetrician and highly recommended.

Anne is a fantastic OB, very lucky to be her patient. For someone so scared of childbirth like me, she made it a wonderful experience. She did caesarean for me and the scar was so small and almost invisible - I told her she is so good with stitching that she should be a tailor!

We delivered our first baby with Dr Anne Macgibbon. I was very pleased with her professionalism, always taking time to answer any questions/concerns and made me feel at ease. She was suppportive of natural birth without medical interventions that I wanted. Highly recommend her. Would love to have another baby with her again.

Dr. Macgibbon came highly recommended to me by a midwife at north shore private.
She was fantastic throughout my entire pregnancy, and extremely calm and professional when it came to delivery, (Bub’s heart rate was dropping and we needed an emergency c section.) My experience was very positive overall, and I will definitely be booking in with her next time.

I rarely write reviews but Dr Macgibbon has delivered both of my children and was amazing. I am a doctor and my wife is nurse. When I asked 3 obstetricians I know who they would trust with their own children they all said her name. We will likely have 2 more children and I do not see us ever going elsewhere. Highly recommended

Anne has delivered both my girls via C-section and both operations ran very smoothly. Anne is honest, caring & knowledgeable . She is always open to doing what you feel is best for your body and guides you with her advice along the way.

Dr MacGibbon has delivered both of my boys. She is intelligent, warm and an excellent surgeon. You never feel rushed in a consult and she takes time to get to know you as an individual. I'm very grateful for her care and expertise
