Due South

I am so glad that I stayed close to Due South during my first ever visit to Albany in Western Australia. I had dinner here on two consecutive evenings while in Albany and I left so satisfied on both occasions. Firstly there was a decent selection of beers - and I am a IPA lover and went for the Voodoo Ranger IPA. The ribeye steak is probably the best I have had in my memory. It is so well grilled to the doneness I like and every bite is simply a pure enjoyment. The greens is so crispy that feels freshly harvest. The cheese burger is also very good with lots of add-ons for toppings.

Definitely worth a visit

Food was delicious, great portion sizes. The service was fantastic, staff were friendly and helpful. Waited to be seated, but didn't have to wait long. Kitchen staff were pumping out the food fast. Would definitely recommend.
Only thing I would suggest would be to offer garlic bread and to have steak knives available for the steak. Other than that, was great.

Nice atmosphere, good location with amazing view and delicious, big portion of chilli mussels. Good place to visit, only the 15-minute long queues to order (no table service) were quite bothersome, especially since I was there on a fairly empty day.

Superb food and service! Attentive and friendly staff. We ordered their pizza of the day which is new to their menu and it was the best decision we made. It complemented the Godfather pasta that we ordered. Dessert and drinks are fantastic too! A bit pricey but you've got what you paid for.

I have some feedback to share regarding a restaurant that we visited for both lunch and dinner. I must say that the food was consistently fresh and brilliant on both occasions. The service was top-notch, as the staff was extremely attentive and polite to everyone. The menu offered an amazing selection of dishes to choose from, including plenty of vegan and vegetarian options. We particularly enjoyed the pizzas, which were exceptional in taste and quality. Additionally, the prices were quite reasonable, so it didn't damage our bank account. To top it off, the restaurant offered a nice view, making it the perfect place to enjoy a meal in a pleasant atmosphere.

🌟We loved 🥰 ❤ the mussels! It’s cooked in tomato 🍅 based and with garlic. The sauce is terrific with the toasted bread!
🌟also recommended the Mozzarella pizza 🍕 it’s so yummy and the texture of the pizza dough is so chewy! The beef pizza is asome! The beef is like slow cooked and then baked with the pizza it tasted so good!
🌟another surprise is the classic chicken wings! You must try first without the sauce! The sweetness and spicy and fragrance combined together make you fly!
The salad 🥗 is just ok.
The beer is recommended by the guy in the bar my friend liked it.
The place is perfect for friends chatting and family!

The food was amazing, we had the garlic pizza, salt and pepper squid and chilli mussels. Delicious, perfect amount of seasoning in everything 👌🏼 The lemon lime bitters were so refreshing, tasted freshly made. The service was amazing, the man at the front was very bubbly and welcoming, the staff were all very inviting, they all had a really positive attitude. You can definitely tell that business is loved by both staff and customers. Outstanding service, great food, amazing vibe and perfect view. Words can not describe our experience. Definitely recommend for couples, friend groups and definitely families.

Fantastic meal. Large group, seated with no issue. Food came out really fast. Rueben pizza was loaded and overall one of the best pizzas I've ever had. Friendly staff, great range of beers. Wish there were more places round like this.

Good food, friendly staffs, and fun ambience. Best to be here with friends and watch your fav. team on TV. Love their chicken wings and special shout out for the chicken parfait 🙂 will come back for these! and definitely try another on the menu list.

Well managed front of house staff, bar staff fast and efficient, wait staff very efficient. Kitchen staff on the ball with getting meals out on time. This restaurant is a well run facility, we enjoyed our meals which came out fast, well mannered staff all round. Highly recommend. Absolutely delicious.

This place is amazing, honestly couldn’t fault it, service was brilliant the pizza was one of the best I’ve had (the dough I think is one of the real winners). Heaps of beers on tap, view is great, sports up on the TVs. Not too loud. But honestly the pizza is bloody good.

Only feedback to add to the menu: Chicken Parma is a must……

The food was delicious fresh and delicious, the men here had great customer service especially the guy with the purple plats! He opened the gate for us so our pooch could join us! He was very accommodating! The ladies got the job done but would love to see a little happier, welcoming faces! Other than that, great menu, great atmosphere, great food! I would definitely return!

Very very very impressed with this restaurant and quality. Although seems pricy the food is top quality and also you get generous serves. Their chicken wings are to do die. Me, my partner and family were all absolutely satisfied and would highly recommend. Great location also. Well done guys!

We had the lamb pizza. It was delicious, the flavours were perfect. 4 stars for atmosphere only because it was so very noisy and hard to have a conversation but everything else was 5 star!!
