Best yum cha experience I've had. Service was friendly and kept coming with trolleys. The dumplings were all amazing, good chicken feet, tripe perfectly cooked and tender. Try the scallop dumplings!

Very good quality dim sum! Everything we had was fresh. Slightly expensive but would come back due to quality of food compared to other yumcha places I've been to.

My new fav yum cha place!

Not only the food was really tasty, fresh, authentic and have a few interesting new dishes, the service was unexpectedly excellent in a Cantonese restaurant (I normally expect rude aunties pushing carts around), everyone was super friendly and helpful!

The atmosphere is very tasteful and interesting to look at, I didn’t have high hopes for Chinese restaurants to have great food when they have beautiful decors, because when a restaurant spend a great amount of energy in renos to attract customers they often neglect the quality and taste in their food. So kudos for being an overall excellent place! Will definitely come back every time I have a yum cha craving!
The only down side for this place is how hard it is to find, it is located at the outer rim of the Macquarie centre, best parking is level 3 pink parking lot and walk out following signs to find the restaurant.

Once we got there, the food was excellent! Pleasing tasty and minimal MSG unlike other Chinese restaurants. Would come again with other families.

Went with family and with young kids.

Coming from metro line, took a while to realise the restaurant is located outside on Level 3, near Zara store and exiting via the carpark there. Follow the signs as other people have written.

This place is a yum cha gem, its been a while since Ive finished my meal at a restaurant and had an eagerness to return very soon. We ordered at a total of 13 dishes and were blown away by each one. Everything tasted delicious.

The service was also top notch. Despite it being a busy sunday yum cha, we were still able to find a booking for 3 people

Would highly recommend this place, its definitely become more regular yum cha place after today

A great place to enjoy Yum Cha and Chinese cuisine. The decoration is exceptional; it makes you feel like dining in the classical Chinese architecture.

I found my new favourite yum cha restaurant!!! From inside the Macquarie shopping centre it was tricky figuring out getting to this restaurant that is actually outside of the shopping centre. Follow the signs on the walls. A cute panda sculpture greets you at the entry. The wait was about 10 minutes.

It was much bigger than I imagined inside and decorated with tons of lanterns making the place look authenticically Chinese.

We chose dim sum dishes off the carts and also ordered some via the QR code scan. Started off with shrimp noodles, followed by dumplings, chicken feet, BBQ pork puffs, Chinese broccoli and finished off with the Mango pancake. They were all tasty and of good quality. The tea was good and for under $80 for two.

Most importantly the foods didn't have MSG taste during or after eating. I didn't suffer from the usual MSG after effect (feeling drowsy and thirsty).

Fantastic food, great portions, wonderful service! Definitely on the pricier side for yumcha but you get what you pay for. The thing I highly recommend you try is the pineapple buns with BBQ pork inside of them (only available on weekends). They were incredible.

Great variety of dumplings and everything seems to be made fresh to order as you order via QR code instead of the trolleys being pushed around.

Food is tasty, comparable to Vinh Phat in cabra but has more variety. Definitely recommend the fried prawn wonton and XLB 👌🏼

Parking is difficult to navigate as MQ centre is messy.

You probably need to make a booking as this place gets packed very quickly.

Nice Yum Cha at Macquarie Centre hidden behind shopping centre. Delicious yum cha dishes very well prepared comparable to top yum cha restaurants in Chinatown.
And, you don’t have to pay for parking & drive a long way to city. Many dishes are yummy.

Staff members are friendly, helpful, but the only letdown is the management of this place do not know how to organise their service staff members properly, to be more efficient, effective to serve customers, reset tables & deliver drinks + food.
Kitchen team seems to be able to cook dishes timely. You just need to have time to sit there for a while, wait for service & food should come quickly.

Thank you Panda Yum Cha for a wonderful banquet feast! We booked a private room and ordered from their banquet menu, there was so much variety on offer! It's not often you can find a Chinese restaurant that serves excellent quality food and good service. Interiors are beautiful too! Special shout out to Michelle who served our room. Thank you for a wonderful night!

My daughter and I dined at The Panda Yum Cha recently with a group of friends. The Panda Yum Cha is a spacious new restaurant in the Macquarie Centre serving delicious Chinese dishes.
The interior is absolutely stunning with dramatic yellow, white and black geometric tiling, wooden screens, greenery and amazing ceiling fixtures.
My favourite dish was the stir-fried scallops with XO sauce while my daughter loved the fruit sweet and sour pork.
The steamed dumplings are also incredible and very generously filled. The steamed prawn dumplings are a must try!
The wait staff were friendly, knowledgeable, quick and efficient.
We will most definitely be back again most probably on a Monday to Thursday weeknight when The Panda Yum Cha has some of its most popular dishes on special at discounted prices.

Busy yum cha location but worth it! Definitely not as overpriced as Rhodes but still decent. The selection was diverse and there were some good specials that they had.

My family went to The Panda Yum Cha recently with a group of friends for dinner. The place is spacious and service was great and efficient even though they are busy..

I would recommend Braised Pork Belly 招牌秘制東坡肉 which is very good. It is a must try dish. Other good dishes included Lobster with Garlic Butter sause and Noodle 龍蝦蒜子牛油生面底,Live Pipi in XO Sause XO醬炒蜆,Fruity Sweet and Sour Pork 果香咕嚕肉,and Thai Style Roast Prok 泰式燒豬頸肉.

We also had Steamed Egg White Tofu 海棠豆腐,Stir-fried Gai Lan with Ginger 姜汁炒芥蘭,Stir-fried Water Spinach with Fermented Bean Curd 椒絲腐乳通菜,and Chinese Mango Pancake 芒果班戟.

However Roasted Pigeon 紅燒乳鴿 is not as tasteful as I expected. The skin of the Crispy Fried Squid 七味椒鹽鮮魷 was a bit dull. You might need to add some spicy salt to it which was not provided. The look and the taste of Mango Sago with Pamelo & Coconut Jelly 楊枝甘露 was different to what I normally had in other shops.

Overall, I would rate it above average. Price was reasonable, foods were decent, and service was excellent.

Easy to get to via the shopping centre (3rd floor I believe near the newer part of shopping centre and just follow the arrows), inviting, clean and spacious. Had yumcha with partner and we both enjoyed it. The food was really nice, had all of our favorites plus the tea was amazing; service could be a tad bit quicker but that's okay, staff were still very friendly and accommodating. And one of the most best things is the little robot that you randomly see moving around, that was cool as heck since we'd never seen that before! Recommended place to eat and would definitely come back here in future again

I ordered total six dishes included desert menu and all of them were awesome. I was very satisfied with all the dishes I tried. Also it was interesting that the female toilet has a hand wash basin in the each toilet room.

We visited The Panda Yum Cha, located at the entrance to Macquarie Shopping Centre Sydney, and tried out their Cantonese Dim Sum and Chinese Cuisine. We dined leisurely in the elegant space, complete with beautiful tiled floors, handing pendants and giant television screens showcasing their offerings.
The Panda Yum Cha is on a grand scale so could certainly accomodate functions. They even have private dining rooms for smaller events.

The restaurant offers ala carte and yum cha. We are there for the weekend yum cha. We try a range of delicious dumplings including pork and prawn siu mai, vegetarian, scallop, cuttlefish, as well as Chinese broccoli and steamed beef ribs with black pepper sauce meatballs. Can’t forget a few bbq pork buns. The little guy even enjoyed these.

We enjoyed the food and appreciated the kind hospitality at The panda yum cha.

The friendly staff, excellent food quality, generous serving size, comfortable seating, member discounts, quick service, and delightful tea selection all contribute to an outstanding dining experience. Whether you're craving traditional yum cha or want to explore the flavors of Chinese cuisine, Panda Yum Cha is the place to be. LIKE THE CUTE ROBOT!

Best yum cha restaurant in Sydney!
Excellent food and service! I will definitely come back again.
If you like yum cha, you must try Panda.
The restaurant is super busy on weekends, 15min after they open, you need to wait for a table, so come early or make a reservation.

This is our second time to visit this place for dim sum lunch. It was a Thursday so we were promptly seated without a queue.
I quite like the way they deliver dim sum to the table by robots which is quite interesting and entertaining.
We tried various dishes like hargow, shrimp rice roll, deep fried dumplings. All very delicious. We will be back!
