Royal Hotel

I recently hosted a party for my parents at the Royal hotel. Sharyn and Allen were so accomodating to me, letting me make instalments to pay my account off, the room on the day was all set up with tablecloths, we just had to walk in decorate and go. They make the process very easy for you, and anything I asked for they were happy to help. The kitchen ladies were amazing, such hard workers and the food is always yummy so you never have to worry about the food standards. Everyone raved about the food, loved the party and really enjoyed themselves. No cleaning, they do it all for you with no cost for the room. Nikki and staff in the bar and catering did a wonderful job. I honestly did nothing all night except talk and dance. Highly recommend the Royal Hotel for a stress free event. Can’t thank them enough 10/10

We had lunch at the Royal hotel today. The staff was extremely friendly and accomodating. The food was amazing and such great value! Good wholesome, home cooked food. We’ll be back next time we’re in town. Thanks! Deanna.

Dropped into the Royal after doing the Thorsborne trail, perfect place for a couple of hours and a few ice cold beers. Lovely people, breezy pub, will be back again.

Perfect example of an honest person who has 0 percent greed. We 4 friends got stuck because of floods and every motel around started charging 150-200$ a night. This was the last place left so hoping against the hope we called him and asked for the price. Guess how much? Only 50$ a night for a single room.

We drove for 17 hours straight and were tired and he saved our day.

The $15 lunch was out of this world. Do yourself a favour and take yourself out for lunch. Thank you to the ladies for fantastic food and friendly and welcoming service.

The royal has extremely good food ive been there many times for meals very cheap price and the food is always presented well the eating area is always clean and the lady's that work there are awesome too. The royal is my number 1 place for lunch in town.

Amazing lunch spread and so cheap. Difficult to choose between the massive meatballs, pasta, golden battered fish, chicken parmi. Definitely be back on my next trip.

Good customer service, Friday night disco has a great vibe. Value for money lunches, the food is amazing.

We visited this hotel on the weekend on our way to Townsville. Friendly and great service thank you. Maybe next time we will be in time to enjoy a meal there.

On the main street, very quiet pub that was good for a stop on our roadtrip.
