Mr Mcgee Italian House

A hidden gem right in Sippy Downs. Never had a bad meal from Mr McGee. Their prices are reasonable and their wait times for takeaway are minimal. The fettuccine carbonara plus a garlic bread pizza is one of my favourites, and it's big enough to share.

Without doubt the best Italian restaurant on the Sunshine Coast. Your hosts Rick & Bev serve up a delicious array of food which will keep you coming back for more. We regularly enjoy our time there with family and friends. The staff are really friendly too, and it's reasonably priced. It doesn't get much better than this. Bookings essential these days.

Me and my friends have a lovely evening at that day. We have four cheese pizza, gnocchi, fettuccine and lasagna. Pizza and pasta are made fresh and the desert is to die for. Highly recommended.

I have been looking for an Italian restaurant on the coast that serves my favourite dish Amatriciana.
Was very happy to find it was only minutes from my home in Chancellor Park. I took my family there last night to celebrate my mums birthday and Daniel and his staff were wonderful.
And the Amatriciana was absolutely superb. Can’t wait to go there again.

Fantastic! The food is full of flavour, served piping hot and fresh, by great staff. The service is personal, friendly and fun! The staff and owners are clearly proud of the service and food they offer. The pizza is superb, great crust and base - getting hungry thinking about it! The specials change regularly, and the desserts are well worth saving a little space for. A hidden treasure, well worth a visit 👌👍

Delightful evening in this cosy little restaurant. Pasta and Garlic pizza, both fantastic and I loved the texture of the pizza base. The staff were super friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend!

Go here regularly because it is consistently fantastic, in terms of both food & service. Last night's meal was exceptional. The seafood puttanesca was superb! Very generous serving of fresh, perfectly cooked seafood in a delicious light sauce, & for a very reasonable price. Guys, you're amazing! You are without doubt right up there for the best Italian on the coast.

First visit recommended by a work colleague and what a find! The staff so friendly, food was top notch and tasted as good as it smelt and unbelievably cheap compared to other Italian restaurants. Will certainly go back to work through the menu! Great work guys! 😊

Wow. We recently discovered Mr McGee Italian House by chance on a visit from Canberra. This place exceeded our expectations. Relaxed atmosphere so grab a bottle of wine from your favourite bottle and settle in for a serious foodgasm! Take their pizza... I actually lovingly prepare their pizzas! Fresh ingredients expertly prepared on daily made bases cooked in a oven. Very welcoming staff who were knowledgeable on food menu (did not just point to most expensive when we asked for suggestions). There is a reason why Mr McGee Italian House comes so highly recommended by so many! Looking forward to returning hopefully in the near future and seeing what specials will be...! Reasonably priced too given high quality all round. Thank you!!!

Rick & Bev operate what is arguably one of the best restaurants on the coast. They have been involved in the restaurant business for years and it shows, from the great level of prompt and friendly service, to the fabulous meals themselves and all being done at a very reasonable price.

This is our go-to restaurant when we have friends visit from elsewhere or just to catch up with local friends for a great night of excellent Italian food.

Having owned our own restaurant many years ago and knowing Rick and Bev for almost as long, you can be assured of a great experience without breaking the bank. These guys do it very well and with a great friendly attitude to ensure complete satisfaction. Bookings are strongly advised as their patronage has been going through the roof recently, despite the constraints imposed on us all by Covid19.

Excellent service, and oh boy you can see why this place doesn't need to advertise.
I am very, very hesitant ordering pasta dishes w/ tomato base when out, because usually they are acrid or boring. Not here! And finally, a garlic bread containing enough garlic.

That's not even mentioning our delicious desserts - the mocha mousse balanced flavours perfectly and the pudding was just right.

Add warm welcoming customer service to the mix, with a clear focus on ensuring you have comfortable, pleasant evening (right down to blankies if you are cold!) and we will definitely be back.

I eat alot of pizza and this was by far the best I've had in a long time! The toppings were so fresh I could taste each individual vegetable and the dough was perfectly fluffy. Also, the cadbury flake cheesecake is definitely worth a try.
Many compliments for the great service we received, my mum and my partner were equally thoroughly impressed with their meals (marinara and another pizza), we hope to be back soon.

Friendly service, decently priced, delicious flavour and loved the texture of the pizza base! Also the Arancini balls and dipping sauce were to die for 😍 will definitely come again!
