Having previously had a terrible experience, today's experience flipped that one one its head and of I could give 6 stars then for today's service that is what you would get.

What a wonderful experience. I should have got the lady and guy's name that were in store today. The lady assisted with getting shoes to meet my needs and I ended up chatting to the guy whilst she got different shoes for me to try. A wealth of experience and I walk away with exactly what I needed! Now to test them out and come back for another pair for the trails

I visited the shop a few weeks ago as an overweight arthritic lady in her 60's who has not been able to get back into running due to knee pain. Amanda spent lots of time with me doing the treadmill analysis and trying several different shoes before settling on Brooks Ghost Max. Amanda asked me what my goal was and I responded that I just wanted to be able to run 5K again! Thanks to this great service I am almost there. The shoes are amazing and I am almost pain free. Loving running all over again! Thanks Amanda!

Well worth the trip into the city. First time customer and most definitely going back. Helpful, patient staff and nothing was too much trouble. Highly Recommend!
The only trouble was I wanted to buy 2 pairs! Refreshing to have good reliable options.

These guys are amazing and very knowledgeable about getting you set up with the right type of shoes for your activity - not just running - and the best fit. Huge thank you to Sam and Amanda for setting us up with amazing shoes for our Bibbulmun hike, and also awesome customer service when we needed it during our hike. Would highly recommend to anyone!

Not only is the customer service exceptional, the staff are very knowledgeable and clearly passionate about their industry. The team always takes the time to explain differences in the huge variety of shoes which is otherwise overwhelming to someone relatively new to running (like me).

You might save $5-10 by shopping around but I’ll never go anywhere else for my shoes because here the whole experience enjoyable and stress-free. I leave with great advice as well as a solid pair of shoes.

Without a doubt the best shoe store in Perth.

Best to book a shoe fitting service if you've not bought a shoe here before to get the best service possible.

Service is bar none and if you are looking to properly get a shoe, highly recommend checking out making a trip.

The customer service at the RC, is exceptional and of a bygone age. Amanda has fantastic depth of knowledge and is lovely soul (no pun intended err well maybe a little)
Amanda was under the pump this morning with multiple customers and on her own, and she dealt with everyone with the same level of professionalism and care. You must have been a wonderful Nurse, and the profession is poorer that you're not practising.
I can put a years salary down that Athletes Foot would never teach me the ankle lock lacing.
In this day and age its is imperative to shop local, because of the levels of service offered by shops such as The Running Centre, and its due to this high quality that I will return for all future purchases related to walking and running.

Fantastic service today, was served by Sam who was under the pump with multiple customers, but made the time to do a detailed analysis on my running technique and picked out the right shoe. Great local spot with knowledgeable staff ◡̈

I was referred here by word of mouth and was not disappointed. The staff are super knowledgeable and friendly, they knew what questions to ask, and they really listened to my responses to get me into the right shoes for my goals. The selection is vast and for a speciality store the prices were far more reasonable than I expected. At no point did I feel like I shouldn't be there, I'm a regular person who likes to run and by no means an athlete, but they made me feel as welcome and important as the next customer. I'll be back when I need shoes again :)

Best customer service I’ve had in years! I’ll never shop anywhere else for running shoes. I had a free consultation where they got me on the treadmill and fit me for shoes specific to me and my goals. The young tall guy who served me was extremely knowledgeable. You’ve earned a life long customer.

Went into the store this afternoon and was served by Adam. He has a very impressive knowledge of running shoes and spent time helping me find shoes that best suit my running style. Would highly recommend coming to TRC for purchasing running shoes. Adam is a top bloke.

I had a really positive experience at The Running Centre. The staff are so friendly, very informed and motivated to help you to find the right gear for your needs. I was helped by Amanda, who was absolutely lovely, and I could see the other customers around me receiving great care from her team members also. I love the new shoes they helped me to pick, and found it so helpful to be allowed to take each pair I tried outside for a little pavement run to see how they felt. Will 100% be coming back here for my next pair of running shoes!
