We absolutely love it. Our go to Japanese restaurant. It fills nit only your belly but your soul. The food is like home cooked style and very friendly staff always welcome you with a smile. Also got a retro feel of the whole outlook.🍱🍜🍹😊

Celebrated my son's 16th bday today, we had a group of 16, The restaurant was ready for us at 11.30am, The service was awesome, The Food 👀🤗 Ramen 🍜 was so amazing, Had my 3 boys do the Godzilla challenge with 1 winner 🏆 & 2 just failed miserably 🤣🤣 Thank you again From Glenfield

Great food as always, not sure why there are some reviewers saying it has changed, we didn’t have the same experience, so I thought I’d update my old review. Friendly service and food was still delicious, highly recommended!

Great food and friendly service. The bento boxes and ramen are really good value. They close on Mondays. Love the Kaarage chicken with Japanese Mayo.

Had a company Christmas and New year party, great place, great food highly recommended.

Good customer service. The pork broth on the tan tan ramen was thick and so tasty. Tasted like they were using real chillies so the pepper flavour was defined in the broth which was real good. Recommend this place

Absolutely brilliant.

Walked in without any expectations, and was blown away by the value for money once our food arrived.
5 of us ordered a side, main and drink each, yet only managed to spend $26pp and barely finished our very generous portions!
I had the sushi/sashimi combo and the fish was very fresh, flavourful and seemed to be of excellent quality.
The sides were also just as nice, and the others all seemed very satisfied with their meals, and also the large portions!

The service was prompt and friendly, but it's hard to comment on the regular atmosphere during a busier night as we were in later on a weeknight, so it was relatively quiet.

They are licenced, offering several options for sake, a few for soju (I think) and 5 beers from what I noticed. There may be more, but I only really zeroed in on the beers and a soft drink that evening 😁

Would definitely recommend, and will more than likely be returning for another meal when I'm in the area again!

Quality and value for money Japanese food in the inner west for everyone! Vegetarian Ramen rocks and so does the Chicken Katsu in curry sauce!

Today I came for lunch with my friends in Manmaruya Ashfield and I had butakimchi lunch, I requested to exchange seaweed salad to gyoza and they didn’t disappoint me. I was very happy with the service and food. It’s a must visit for Japanese food.
Loved the food and customer service.
Highly recommended for everybody.

We ordered Terriyaki Chicken Bowl and Spicy Beef Terriyaki, miso soup and Pork Ramen. Everything was delicious and very generous serves. Will definitely be back . Forgot to take photos before we demolished it .

Not gonna lie... I've tried other Japanese restaurants in Ashfield. But this is the best so far. If u come here u have to try their Ramen. They also have Mt.Fuji Curry and get a $1 refund if you finish it by yourself.

Great meal set, big portion and good value for money.

I haven’t been for a while and didn’t know they have kids bento now! Good value of $6 for kids, she’s thrilled.
I actually have never had curry there before, I never know that the pot for just curry is the same size of the rice bowl. A little pricy but then I know why when I look at the curry.

Great value for money authentic Japanese food one block from Ashfield station. The service is always excellent and the food never disappoints.

We had a fantastic lunch meal here. The food was excellent/ well priced. Definitly reccomend the chicken karage (make sure you get the curry sauce as an extra, it's worth it and it's delish) and the salmon sashimi is also great. Thanks for the amazing meal !!

Delicious ramen! And the sushi is amazing too! Can't remember what I had but I added some of that oil chilly sauce and made it so much tastier!
