On a still night, whispers of the 'ghost of Paddy' with his distinct Irish/Aussie accent can be heard, conversing with his dear friend Barry. It's a mystery the NT police hope to solve soon regarding Paddy and his dog's fate. There's an engaging documentary on Netflix about it. It's heartening to see newcomers revitalize the town's pub, infusing it with fresh energy. If I'm ever in the area, I won't miss stopping by for a chilled beer and a savory homemade meat pie.

Great little pub to stop at for a bite to eat and to stretch your legs (also a cheeky beer if you want).
Recommend getting a pie while you're there. I ended up grabbing some extras to heat up in the travel oven later in the day.
If you're interested in Military stuff, there's also a museum over the road near the old airstrip.

An absolutely iconic pub. The bright pink is hard to miss! A great place to stop on the way up or down the Stuart hwy. The folks behind the bar were very friendly and great people to have a chat to!

Just stopped here on the way to Tennant Creek. Great little town for a rest break and the pies at the pub were great. Check out the Lost in Larrimah podcast for a unique perspective on the place and the search for Paddy!

Best pie I've had for a while, nearly beats a Villis, that's saying something. Good vibe about this place, even when quiet. Adjacent Museum really well presented, great WWII info sign displays. Well done, whoever sorted that. About 500ks south of Darwin

We had a great overnight stay here - plenty of space to park our 5th Wheeler & even some grass.

The pub is interesting & quirky with friendly caged Cockatoos & a couple of emus.

A bonus was the singer who entertained the campers/patrons for 3hrs, he was excellent.

Our meals were good value & came with a 10% discount.

Recommended.

This is a pub with great character. Walk into a true outback hotel, enjoy a cold beer and a meal with wonderful friendly staff. Get a tour out the back and meet the old crocodile, wallabies, emus and cocky. Then sit by the fire and listen to country music. It was an experience.
Stop if you are passing and have a beer. You can even stay in the caravan park and have a short walk to the pub. It you pass it by you will be sorry you missed the experience.
