Guide Park

This is a great new park in Wonthaggi with Bbq areas, public toilets, picnic tables, and shelters. The playground has a lot of play equipment, including two flying foxes and interactive play areas.

Nicely upgraded. Plenty of cool, shaded, under tree play areas bbq and toilet facilities. Safe fenced areas

A great spot to see the last of the sun of the day.There is great play equipment, also rest rooms.

Such a great place. This park is amazing and has great facilities. Main undercover barbeque are, and another 2 BBQ available. Parking lots so close. Nice playground for the kids to enjoy.

I absolutely love the new guide park. I wish it were appropriate for me - an adult without any children, to go play on the park 😂😭

Well laid out I can see only a 1 or 2 things for improvement in the park safety wise in the little kids area it needs some traction on the rope and climb walls

Terrific new playground for children, with a picnic shelter & toilets.

Very well thought of Children's Playground at The Guide Park in Wonthaggi. Loving the rubberised surfaces around the features of the Playground area for child safety. Plenty of seating for Parents and friends to watch and interact. Would have liked to see some colour on some of the features...but overall I am quite impressed.

Excellent new playspace with heaps to do for all ages including a very tall enclosed tower with enclosed spiral slide.

Great place to stop and let the kids go nuts. It's a very well through out area with the emergency department straight across the road and also an aged care facility. It was great to see at least 5 elderly come over for a walk in the time we were there.

Free, spotlessly clean bbqs, under cover or out in the open. Grass is kept short, plenty of rubbish bins. Water spout for dogs and people. Lovely little fenced in playground. Update: dislike the new toilet block! Update again: I'm glad the tourists like the new park, but locals don't have a chance., always busy!

Food very expensive small tub of fruit 9 dollars. Coffee 4.50. I feel for all the children living on poverty line. We brought our granddaughter. 201 dollars to get 1 child 3 Adults two who will not go in water. Just paying for it. I totally get wages the Animals to look after running of the rides. But just saying. I'm sat here feeling sorry for all the children who well never see the this side of the park. Wonder if a under privilege day done.

Good park with 5 free BBQs. 3 undercover and 2 in the open.

Easy walk to the supermarket if you need more supplies.

Fenced off playground with plenty of unfenced areas to run around and play ball games.

Used the park as a pickup point from the covid test sight over the road. The park has everything for all the family. Trees, open space, toilet facilities, undercover bbqs, benches and seating tables, excellent fenced play area for kids with a wonderful array of safe entertainments. The park was alive with families including several childrens parties.

Still one of the great family destinations of wonthaggi.

The recent Revamp of equipment and amenities has brought this up to a really decent standard

Great bbq place under shelter with benches 3 of them...the other 2 electric bbqs outdoors not working. There's a playground and toilet close by too. Not many people.
