Island Energy

Island Energy have been excellent to deal with. The installer made last minute roof install changes with my approval to maximise solar input/output. My energy company (Red Energy) has me able to track my entire energy use and solar feed hour by hour. The end to end process took longer than I expected but that was due to process with my energy company and independent approval as opposed to Island Energy. I believe my system as installed is of very good quality and perhaps near the top of those available in the Australian market. I certainly recommend Island Energy.

We had our solar system installed by Island Energy San Remo. They were very patient while we prepared the site for the install. ( It took a few months to get it ready for them.)
Mark Cleverley did a site inspection and quote and answered 90% of our questions before we could ask them.
We explained our expectations of the solar system and Mark designed one we were happy with.
We decided to go with a 13.2kw solar system with 13.5kw Tesla battery.
He was very accommodating and happy to go that bit extra which ultimately convinced us to go with Island Energy.
Andrew Male & 3 young chaps from ESI Solutions did the install, the only stipulation we had was the install had to be level, square and balanced to look at and that’s exactly what we got, they even cleaned up after themselves leaving the place as it was when they started, a credit to them.

Mark was more than happy to have Andrew fit the new steel sub board we supplied free of charge as we needed to upgrade the existing damaged board.
We also had a heat pump HWS installed.
I work from home and use high power consumption equipment so needed a solar system that would handle it.
We’ve gone from a 45 to 60kw a day winter usage to 2.5 to 5kw maximum per day and couldn’t be happier.
When ever we’ve had a query about the system, Mark has always made himself available and it never seemed too much trouble to answer it for us.
We’re very happy we went with Island Energy as they were very helpful and conducted themselves very professionally, we highly recommend them for your solar requirements.
Our only regret is that we didn’t decide to install solar sooner. 👍🏻👍🏻👌🏻

This the second dealings we have had with Island Energy. First they installed our solar panels which we enjoyed for a few years. Then we chose them to install our Tesla battery. They are a great team and responded to all our questions and gave us great post sales service. They are local to Phillip Island and reliable.

Island energy did an excellent job in helping us select a good sized system for our needs. They installed the inverter and panels too of course. We are very happy with how it all went and are happy to recommend them to anyone considering solar. The installation chaps were a nice team. They were very courteous and efficiently went about the installation. In all, they installed it in just over half a day. They cleaned up after themselves too. The solar inverter and panels haven’t missed a beat since it was commissioned. The monitoring app is very helpful too. Everything is working like clockwork. Thanks Island Energy 👍

We are very happy with our Solar System installed by Island Energy last September. The staff were friendly and helpful with their advice. The installation team turned up on time and did a great job despite the freezing cold conditions on the day. Overall a positive experience.

We had our solar+battery system installed to our house in Kilcunda back in 2021. The design & installation was professional & flawless. I have since used Island Energy to upgrade the battery capacity twice. Both of these were performed without any issue.

It’s now more than 18 months since Island Energy installed a solar and battery system at the current abode. The system performance has been beyond our expectations. Whilst we had an issue with the hybrid inverter 6 months in (spectacular failure), Sungrow replaced the hybrid inverter under warranty and Island Energy provided great after sales service to ensure it was retrofitted.
Would have no hesitation purchasing again with Island Energy. Joel (system designer) and Dan (sparkie) and numerous others have contributed to a system that surpassed our expectations.

The installation was very professional and the installers were pleasant and very easy to deal with. They also removed our useless solar boosted hot water system and replaced it with a very efficient Heat Pump HWS

Had a 10.56 kw solar system combined with a 11.04 kw battery system installed. the quote was reasonable and within the ball park of all others. Mark had good follow up of our requirements and any questions we had relating to the installation. The installers were first class the neatest I have seen in a long while and was very impressed. All paperwork was completed in a timely manner and our system is now working seamlessly. The only small item was the commissioning. We were not aware it has to be turned off after installation until checked by an authorised person to sign off on so we missed a few days of having the benefits of the installation. This in the end was not a big deal just a little thing in a smooth and very pleasing transaction. I would use them again if needed without hesitation.

Island Energy installed my solar system almost a year ago and I have been really happy.They were great to deal with and helped me work out what I needed. The installation team were professional and polite and my dogs loved them. My solar system is doing a great job and saving me money. If someone I knew was looking at going solar I'd urge them to use Island Energy.

The Island energy team were very responsive with clear and timely communciations. The Electrical team fitting the system arrived on time and completed the job as per the specified time line. (no mess) Very pleased with the overall installation and service and would highly recommend.

We contacted Island Energy about a battery and solar panels and found them professional and responsive with a quote and explanation for the proposed system. We found the installers very efficient and set the system up with no drama given ours was a 2 storey installation. Definitely recommend the team.
