Nice spot for kids, picnics, and sports, and if you're keen, there's a bush trail. It backs the zoo, so we were lucky to hear the tigers

Nice park for a family picnic. Has plenty of Barbeque pits but consider booking a spot as it does get busy on weekends and finding a shade could be difficult. A large play area for kids with multiple choices. Kids would enjoy this. Zoo is just next door.

Lovely park at the back of Sydney Zoo. This is a family favorite for gatherings and picnics. Endless fields of green, lot's of shades under trees. They also have picnic shelters, some you can use for free and some big ones you can reserve/book through their website. There also free to use barbecue grills near the picnic shelters.

Different play areas for kids, sand pits, swings, slides, zip line, and the most popular, the climbing tower. There are also many parking bays available, as well as public restrooms.

Great day out for children. The kids playground is a short walk from the car park. To go there do not turn right at the first right turn. A lot of parking spaces. Quite a few shades with BBQ facilities. Great place for outdoor picnics and birthday parties. Amenities are also available near main playground. Can be very busy on a sunny day.

This is a great park! We visited on Easter Sunday and there was still plenty of room for everyone. Lots of activities for the kids including a flying fox and water play. Shelter sheds do get booked out so taking your own shelter pod or gazebo is a good idea. We took our own chairs but there were spare park benched right near us. Free barbecue facilities are a nice touch. It was also nice to see the rangers in attendance.making sure everyone was behaving - which they were.

Lovely zoo to visit. Very well maintained and friendly staff. All the animals are well cared for.
You can take your own food or eat at the cafe, it's not too badly priced. It's an easy walk around the zoo. Make sure you plan your day look online to see what time talks are on.

This is our favourite park! We drive about an hour from home just to visit here! We go for walks and bike rides along the track, play in the playgrounds that have so many things for the kids to play on! There's a water and sand play area! And plenty of BBQ areas!
There are so many beautiful spots to have picnics. We just love it!

A fantastic toddler friendly zoo, plenty of exhibits and a great cafeteria.

The terrain is flat and easy for prams, with lots of shade sporadically around and misting systems to keep you cool in the summer. There is also a Ferris wheel and sandpit to break up the day for children.

There is plenty of parking available as well.

Sydney Zoo is a really great day out for all ages. Viewing the animals has been maximised with an elevated aspect being close to the action. The animals are extremely well cared for, and the staff are super helpful and well organised. The Chimps were my favourite having a family row while I was viewing. Want to have a family day out, got to go here, it's mandatory. Only 45mins from the CBD and close to public transport makes it ideal.

Very large park for everyone. Has barbecue and shade for people to sit and eat. Great place for picnic. Will be good for people visiting when days are cool or summer evenings or mornings. There are play areas for kids, while adults enjoy their get together.
