Jones Winery & Vineyard & Restaurant Rutherglen

We had a wonderful late lunch here today - we were very kindly allowed to attend the restaurant quite late.
The food was delicious and M had a great glass of red.
The service was excellent and presentation lovely.
We are from Adelaide but pass through Rutherglen regularly - though this is our first visit to Jones Winery.

We had lunch at Jones Winery, the food was absolutely delicious and the presentation superb. All our dishes looked so appealing. The restaurant has a very relaxed ambience. The staff are very friendly and aim to make your visit enjoyable. Very impressed with the restaurant. A must for your list. We will definitely be back.

Thank you Jimmy for the wine adventure that you took us on with our wine tasting. 🌈 The history of the vineyard with its original farmhouse roof made of stringy bark was very appeasing. Don’t forget their cute doggy who loves people 🐶 Wines were very reasonably priced!! The restaurant smelt unbelievably delicious and can’t wait to try it next time we visit 🍷

5th Generation wine makers in Rutherglen, doing some interesting wines. 2 tasting options, standard $10 refundable on purchase or Reserve $20 (not refundable on purchase) Definitely worth doing the reserves, standouts the Rare Rutherglen Muscat average age 55yr and the LJ from 105 yr old vines.
Beautifully restored cellar door and grounds. Worth the visit.

We had a fabulous experience at Jones’ Winery.
The staff at the cellar door were knowledgeable and took us through an extensive wine tasting. Wines are reasonably priced.
The food at the restaurant was fantastic. High quality produce and full of flavour. The highlights were the lamb, the caramel pumpkin cheesecake and the lavender pudding. We were given complimentary bread, butter and chocolates at the end, and we thought it was great value.

Jones winery and restaurant- you will not be disappointed, the meal from the restaurant is absolutely Devine and you must have the suggested wine to take it to a heavenly level. A party of 4 had a wonderful time here and we will definitely be back again.

Keeping up with the Jones's, wine, will now be a cheeky favourite thing of mine to do.

Arthur greeted us at the sample bar like we were old stock from pastures we'd once both ate from. The family history and rundown on the region, not to mention the Fiano (a fav), was fantastic.

This is a passionate family, winery, and warm experience you will not easily forget. I'll be heading back to try a few more of their delicious choices and hopefully have a few great yarns with the team.

My friends and I did the Gourmet Amble starting at Anderson's for a tasting and entree, followed by tasting and lunch at Jones. The wine selection at Jones is delicious and we enjoyed drinking what ended up being a bottle of Rose with our lunch. Lunch was delicious and could have easily eaten more, not because I was hungry, just because it was so delicious I didn't want it to end. We enjoyed sitting outside basking in the sun for the last moments of summer and enjoying the beautiful surrounds of the gardens at Jones. Thank you!

A wonderful cellar door experience with a very friendly and helpful host. We loved every one of the wines and found them absolutely top quality. It has a lovely cosy ambience and a beautiful setting. A wonderful hour of delicious wines and enjoyable conversation, and we're looking forward to enjoying all the wines we bought and remembering our visit.

First time dining here, and absolutely loved it! Fabulous dining experience deserving of a high Chef's Hat rating and well worth a journey from Melbourne! Got to try several of the entrees and mains, and all were winners. Loved the fine touch and magnificent sauces that elevated each dish to another level. For our meal, pick of the mains was the Duck Leg Ballotine. Dishes featured innovative use of produce like mulberry, kiwifruit, hazelnut, blueberry to create flavours that interest and match. Make sure you go for the desserts too, they were superb. Just look at my pics - Sugar snap pea and fennel in a dessert, who would have thought, and so delicious! Dined with my elderly mother and she loved it (thanks for fitting us in for inside seating!). PS. Make sure to book ahead

Had lunch at Jones Winery a couple of weeks ago and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The service was lovely and there was a good vibe with the staff where they were just happy.

The food is delicious and well presented. I felt the portion sizes were fair and I left feeling satisfied.

We had the pleasure of meeting the owner who is friendly and welcoming. The winery is also dog friendly and that's a win in my books. I will be returning to Jones Winery when I visit the region again.

Lovely family run cellar door and restaurant. Arthur was fab on the cellar door. Service was a bit leisurely, so make sure you have time to enjoy. We left full, happy and with armfuls of wine.

Lovely little winery to visit and excellent service from the English lady there today. I was very impressed with the range of wines on tasting including all the unique things they're doing with some of their dessert and fortified wines. Well worth the visit! 😋✅

We've been here a few times now. The food is sensational and wine is of good quality. Service is friendly and efficient. Whilst not cheap it is still good value due to the quality..

Our group enjoyed a lovely intimate wine tasting experience with Mandy & Arthur . Great range that has some real standouts . Loved the Apera , the range of reds and many loved their style of Durif. Also enjoyed the gallery next door . Will definitely come back another time and enjoy the restaurant.
