We had a great experience at the Niddrie Okami branch.

The food was coming fast. The sushi was fresh and the beef carpaccio was on next level.

The staff was friendly and attentive. I have seen this service is lacking in most other Okami restaurants where the service is slow and have to wait and call someone to come to your table to order.

We had a good time here enjoying the food.

A wide selection of dishes to choose from, you’ll be full in no time. My favourite dish was the fried squid.
Service is prompt and the food comes out quickly.

A great value👍 all you can eat. Although don’t order too much or you will be charged for what you don’t eat.

Staff are so attentive making sure all your requests are acknowledged and responded to without delay. Items ordered were supplied within minutes and a constant supply of drinks was cheerfully delivered. I also asked for a printed list of our initial ordered items and this was presented immediately. It was so easy to continue ordering items throughout our 2 hour session.

We booked our dinner session the night prior and found it very easy to place the seating schedule within the first evening session. There is two evening dinner sessions with a limit of 2 hours each.

On the mid week evening session the restaurant was found to be quite busy but very comfortable with distance seating and plenty of room.

Dishes are well prepared and traditionally presented. A sincere experience of Japanese dining with lots of dishes to experience.

We always go to all the Okami restaurants. We visited this Okami Niddrie. All you can eat Japanese is one of our family favourites. We love Japanese food and we always leave happy and satisfied.

They have a set buffet menu, with cold sushi platters, and a simple hot food. My kids always order seaweed salad, sushi platters, chicken skewers, and fried chicken. Service was friendly and food was served really quickly. Restaurant was busy and bustling and the atmosphere was great.

Our favourite is the sushi/sashimi platter. It’s always fresh and tasty. The salmon is absolutely delicious.y favourite is the seaweed salad and mushroom salad. My kids love the tasty crispy chicken and my husband loves the beef Stirfry with fried rice.

It’s a great family restaurant and good value for money. They have convenient locations all throughout Melbourne. We love it

Great menu, between 4 of us we took turns at choosing from the range of selections and every plate was fantastic. The service was excellent and quick given the time allocated, definitely recommend and go back to again.

The staff were really kind and all had a smile on their face. The place was clean and quiet/calm. The food was delicious and came out without a long wait. They waiter kept checking in on us to see if we needed anything else and continued to remove our plates once we had finished with them, which was nice to keep the table clear but not feel like they were watching/waiting for us to finish. I had a pram and requested a highchair which they had ready for us. We were seated away from the aisles which made us feel comfortable that we weren’t in anyone’s way. Great lunch experience

The Okami restaurant is one of our favourite Japanese restaurants. It's an all-you-can-eat place with good rules (if you waste from 200g+ food, surcharges apply and I find it fair).
The food is delicious and there's a vast choice of dishes and drinks.
I loved the tempura and the miso steak!

Was a little confused to begin with as I didn't realise you could just order multiple times from the banquet! Lots can be made vegan (staff even got some vegan fried rice specially made for me!) And the food was great. Service was good.

Very fresh and tasty food which came out very prompt. Service was great and staff friendly. But expect that from Japanese culture . Ashame arrived mid way thru the session . Hope to enjoy full session next time !! Kanpai

Recently had lunch there it was a fantastic experience, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the service was very quick. Being an all you can eat restaurant the food kept rolling out as fast as you could order it and it tasted amazing. I highly recommend Okami 👍🏻

One of the best Okami restaurant so far I've been. The atmosphere quite busy, yet staffs are super friendly on Saturday night. It was awesome experience, thanks Niddrie Team!

We had a great night tasting lots of different, very delicious foods. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the service was great. It was very loud though and somewhat difficult to follow a conversation.

definently bring ur appetite! i like not havg to get up and get my meals, and love havg this buffet served to me instead🥰, food was delicious, will be back.

Our first experience and it was quite lovely very busy. Only thing I didn't enjoy on the menus was the seaweed salad, and the green tea icream and sesame ice-cream. Everything else was superb.

I've been to a few okami establishments I was mistaken to think they are all equal. Niddrie is by far the best. Food is fresher staff are friendlier and more attentive
