Sues Bridge Camping Ground

Excellent camp site, highly recommended staying here!

Clean drop toilets and a few to choose from, all camp bays were plenty big enough with more than half big enough for a van or camper trailer.

There was a huge wood pile at the entrance and all the sites had fire rings with most having hot plates for cooking as well.

The sues bridge day use area by the water is the perfect spot for a hike or just for a refreshing swim. The water is crystal clear with easy access, plenty of river for a lengthy kayak or SUP boarding.

Dogs are allowed at this site and fees are around $11 an adult per night. Well worth the money, with Augusta only 37kms down the road it was a short trip to enjoy the town for a day.

Happy to report we didnt encounter any big foots or yowie's...

Definitely worth a visit.

Winter time visit
Pretty much empty on the banks of the swollen Blackwood river. Jarrah forest surrounds thought trucks can be heard passing in the background at times.
We thought it was great though with firewood supplied though worth being dry wood to get started, possums can be cute and annoying.
Picnic tables, toilets and good steel fire pits

Enjoyed our night in this camp. Picnic table and seats on each site. Along with a brazier. $7 a night each person. Toilets there. My Barbie enjoyed the pretty little orchids that were everywhere.

Quiet and easy to get to...if you have kayaks bring them to paddle down the Blackwood🙂

A great place to camp always clean. Good sites available too.

We visited on week days. Very few campers...maybe 5 of the 25 plots occupied. The river was flowing well do the paddling was good, even upstream for a couple of kilometres. The level dropped about 300mm overnight but the flow was much the same. From previous visits it needs to be quite a lot lower, or one needs to be very fit, to be able to make any long return paddling trips.

Great camp grounds, sites are spaced at with privacy. Not busy on week days. There is a firewood pile you can use when burning is permitted. There is a basic camp kitchen and long drop toilet. The whole camp site is clean and well maintained/looked after.

Beautiful camp ground in the middle of nowhere basically. Peaceful and very tranquil. Camp kitchen available and also drop toilets.

Awesome spot and you can bring your fury friend. Lots of shaded areas and toilet spot. Very close to the river, great in summer for a little swim

Clean , big spaces , tables , great place

Highly recommend this camp ground. The sites are spread apart enough to feel spacey. There's two sites that have disabled access as well as the toilets. Just be warned, its very muddy when raining and water collects in some of the sites.

Great campsite that offers a range of sites for tents, camper trailers, thru to caravans. Also has a large camp area for big groups.
Great swimming area just a minutes walk away in the Blackwood river.

Wonderful, peaceful spot. Nice and close to the river, great for swimming and kayaking. Plenty of wildlife around. Can't wait to get back there!

Tip top spot! Great for boating fishing kayaking all the good things! Bit of a shame they took away the camping spots along the river tho :( very majestic

Sues bridge is this stuff sues road is not far from Busselton probably about 50 ks I'm guessing and about I'm saying about 2 to 2 and a half hours south of Perth CBD which is located in Western Australia and it is nice campsite good to bring down for the weekend or a long weekend or so on good place check it out
